To bad you can't get a high-stall converter for the Merc auto. Maybe some smaller diameter rear tires would help.
Is the SRT's 3.07 differential any more "beefed up" than the NA's 3.27? If not, then swapping differentials with a Limited, and going down 1" in diameter with your Drag Radials would be almost like having a 3.50:1 gear. Would really need the LSD then.

One look that was powerful both for Visual impact and marketing through the 60's & 70's was, and we all had or wanted them, Mickey Thompson finned valve covers. That's a look, that would still look great and aid in the disipation of heat.

give me some ideas please, or we could just cut grooves in the top to give it a ribbed look. we have acess to waterjet/cnc/laser so limited by imagination basically.

Re: Aluminum Intake Manifolds for srt6
rear diff...
we have a 3.07 gear back there, the c32 uses a different housing so the quaife will not go back there. the na xfire and slk 320 use the same housing as the srt6 with a 3.27 gear. im trying to get ahold of one of those to bring to getrag to see if they can beef up the springs to get us closer to equal distibution with it

Hopefully the rearend/gears and ECU aren't like the ones in the LX cars(charger/300/magnum) which use M-B rearend and tranny. For a long time it was impossible to change the gears because the ECU would see the difference in wheel speeds; among other things, and shut the car down. Supposedly they just solved that problem with the new Diablo programmer.
