What are the air intake temps before and after? Any track runs before and after? The dyno graph looks a little funny, why are the runs without the IM's on such a narrow rpm range? You really can not compare them since they do not cover the same rpm's.

Rob, was the dyno with cutouts open or closed? Also was the before done the same day or a different day? What were the ambient temps? Thanks.

Am I the only person that wonders why you would want something that would say "TUNED BY NEEDSWINGS" on thier engine when it wasn't? Slapping a set of covers on an Engine and saying it was tuned by... Is like saying tuned by Carrol Shelby because you have a Cobra Gear Shift ****.

sorry i didnt make it back online last night, yesterday was a looong day and my nap turned into sleep.

i took our srt6 back to cai and asp pulley combo yesterday since thats what most are at right now. this means we took off our prototype exhaust and put everythign back to stock except for the cai and pulley.

got to the dyno to get our baseline and the car wanted to downshift when WOT at 3800rpm's, we finally had to ease into the throttle up to 4000 rpms to get the car to stay in gear for the pull. the start and stop of the graphs are when the dyno operator pushed his start/stop button so data before the start of the stock I.M. pull just wasnt recorded (which wouldnt have been noticed if he hadnt started recording earleir on the new I.M. pulls). = test is legit, just read them from where the oem starts and up.

so oem pull was finished, turned off car and waited a few minutes to start swapping manifolds and the ypipe. we also swapped in the chip from inmotion with the added fuel we want for the manifolds increased airflow. drove the car on the dyno for a few minutes for the pcm to calibrate and the 3 changes togather netted the +45whp on the same stingy dyno we used when we did our testing on the prototype manifolds. i expect if we went around detroit to find a happier dyno like the one we tested our CAI on (out of business now) we would have cracked the 400 mark but i wanted to stay consistant and not set the bar too high so when you guys do get on the dyno you should see similar/better results.

temp was 74f on the dashboard yesterday
cutouts closed = not in the equation

install time took me 1/2-3/4 hour but ive swapped them several times so please take your time

It seems odd that you pulled a nice clean 330rwhp dyno with this configuration before.

Were any of the gains attributed to the Cylinder head work you had done?

I know you like to keep things under wraps - but.....

yes i would have loved to be able to go back to the same dyno we did our cai testing on, it was even much cheaper

the spare cyl heads are still at the head shop, they are off our spare srt6 motor so the ones on our car have never been touched. the new valve guide seals came in the mail today tho im not sure if the heads will be finished anytime soon as i had them push those to the side and there doing all the portwork on the intake manifolds and decking the mating surface for us

All dynos read different, this has been establlished before. Rob did it the right way, by using the same dyno on the same day. It sucks that we are missing the low RPMS, but from what I can see I am more than pleased. 1/4 mile testing would be nice, but I'll be happy to do that once mine are on.

Thats a very impressive gain for one modification, the price is just astronomical for me right now though it may be a while before i can squeeze it into my budget.

I'm curious to see some track results from this.

Looks like this will be my first mod... then the Code3 pulley.

Unfortunatley or Fortunately my Intercooler pump is on it's way out - under warranty. Good thing my car is still stock going into the dealer. But it will no longer be stock long after coming out

we made it to the track on saturday, it was 87f on the dashboard as we pulled in, first pass was a 1.85 60ft to a 12.15x@115.xx, i them turned the car over to liz to see how she could do, she ran consistant 12.34-12.37's all day with the most 60 ft's in the 1.98-2.02 range while breaking into the 116mph traps. im pretty sure this makes her the quickest/fastest female if that counts for anything, lol. looks like we have the fastest trap speed non nitrous on dragtimes. i was tryign to coach her on the launch to cut a sub 1.8 which should have went into the 11's btu it didnt happen, ill keep the car to myself when we get a cooler day
