Gained performance from speeding?
Re: Gained performance from speeding?
The car feels back to normal today, oh well. I've reset the throttle atleast twice since I got the car (a month ago) I can tell the car changing to me, it does change the shift points right? It seems to like to wait for 3,000 rpms now as opposed to 2,000 rpms before. The car did feel really solid at 150 though felt like i was doing 70 but exciting!

Anyways, I took my car on the EMPTY expressway last night and hit 150 for the first time, just to see what the car was like at it. Anyways basically right afterwards I got off the expressway and the rest of the night the car felt a lot more powerful, it even sounded different. Is it possible pushing it up to that speed allowed it to clean itself a little or am I making this up? My boss said he was told by a mechanic to let the car loose every now and then because the engine will clean itself out. I know it has an adaptive throttle and all that jazz, but it didn't seem like it was at all related, the car felt entirely different.
unfortunately, it'll be back to normal the next day... :-(
