Default InMotion Custom Tune and intake results

First off let me say my car is a beast and the track sucked today. I had a Hell of a time hooking up this time with my new mods. After they heated the track and I roasteddd my tires to death with only 25 lbs in them. Then I had to come out of the hole at under 1,000 rpms and then ease the pedal to the floor I mustered :

60 ft. 1.80

330 ft. 5.2210

1/8 ET 8.0321

1/8 MPH 87.55

1,000 ET 10.43

1/4 ET 12.46

1/4 MPH 111.09

I also ran a couple of 12.60's and one 15.77@ 107 and 13.8@ 109.8. I was smoking the tires all over the place it sucked big time. During my fastest run it started to sleet, then they stopped running for the day and year.

So all in all with the tuning from InMotion I picked up another 2 tenths and if the track could have held I know I could have ran a 12.3 or better.

A 12.4 is great in that weather! Sounds like the car is dialed in! Next year should be fun with all those pulley kits going out!

You REALLY need to get some pulleys on your car....you should be able to easily steal my title with some pulleys. Make sure you ***** about that guy harry on the dragtimes.com. He has a 12.4@114 claim on there but the timeslip says 12.575! I emailed and bitched to no avail...we should try to keep that place accurate...

BTW nice 60 ft! With stock tires a 1.80 is DAM good!

I will post my slip in the morning on dragtimes.com. I am at work right now and no scanner. The 1.8 60 is not bad although two weeks ago I did get a 1.77 60 ft but a slower ET. Today the track was to cold, the run I did do good on was after they heated the pad with a torch.

I just looked at Dragtimes, Harry really needs to post his 12.4@ 114 claim with a slip. I did not think they would let you post without a slip to back it up???

No numbers (yet) but after flashing my ecu with InMotion's upgrade, my normal freeway entrance gained 10 mph !!! Engaging traction control in places/gears where it didn't before, with no other changes (and correct tire pressure). Everything from my "precision calibrated butt dyno" to some remarks by people who ride with me often says it was a great upgrade !!!

Nice results!

Is there a post somewhere I missed that shows your water/meth kit?

It has been to cold to really get any benefit from the water/ meth. I have tried it and ran a 12.6 @ 110 and a best of 12.4 @ 111 without. The tune I have now is set up for the cooling effects of the water/meth. So this summer it will be a must have.

So, you have a cold air (needswings?), resonator removal, and tune and you are running 12.4's? That's awesome.

NO, Needswings intake, Homemade intake. I like their intake I just refuse to pay that much for an intake. This spring I will have DR's out back then I hope to see 12.2 or better. My wife says NO on a pulley. She said how fast do you need your car to be anyway. My answer is 11.99.
