I'm actually good friends with the SRT/8 owner. He was running mid 13's all day long. He is in possession of a mid 10 second monster with NOS...So I really can't trash him too bad otherwise he may bring out the big guns.

I didn't hear any engine just a blower! It almost sounded like an electric car off the start. Great video and I loved watching it take off.

Nice run next step is Drag radials and boosted launch. I just ordered my pulley today and hope to finish the car by summer, in addition to getting rid of the Vet.

Chi-Town, I'm not sure if you have addressed this but, do you have any videos of you tooling around from inside the car?

 

I will get one for you in the next few days. Never bought the helmet cam because my friend was videotaping all the runs that day.

 

During the run? No videos of that...but I have given detailed instructions on how to launch and run the car at the track.

What the hell happened to the SRT-8 on the launch? Was he sleeping? Also, does he have a member name on any of the SRT sites? Nice run, BTW.

Nope...the guy is actually a good driver but was on all season tires and could not do better than a 2.1-2.3 60 ft. He also had horrendous wheel hop issues.
