Can you link to this? I can't seem to find it.

BTW, nice video. Watching it gave me some better insight on how to roll out of the timing lights. I've been doing it all wrong I think... It would appear that a Power Braking Boosted Launch isn't too good, as I've found.

Wow, you smoked that srt-8 pretty easily. Good job, way to rep the srt-6.

Looks and sounded great Chi-Town. I'm sneaking up on your fastest SRT-6 though.

That was on his G-Tech. If the weather is good I will be at the track this weekend. It will be the last chance this year. The dealer ordered a new throttle body, they said it will take 4 days. So if it gets here and the weather is good??? Are you game for Sat or Sun, I can do either.

1. Have at least a half tank of gas (this helps ALOT with traction on my car)

2. Do a no mercy burnout but do not get into the water pit at all (unless you have DR's)

3. On a stock car brake launch from 1500 RPM out of first gear...I also launched from that RPM with intake and it worked VERY well giving me high 1.8 60 ft times. Once you get pulleys you'll either have to launch from idle or a few hundred rpm more than idle but not to exceed 1000 rpm.

I always had my best times with TC turned off and starting in first gear. The car would shift into second after the burnout so don't forget to put it back into first when you get to the line.

Yeah I know I was just goofing around with him. My vector pro has me at 11.8@119 and 0-60 in 3.2. Maybe his is more accurate but mine is WAY off. Saturday might work out for me. Is it definetly the throttle body on your car?

They don't know for sure but they are great and work with me. I told them I think it is the throttle body so they order one for me and gave me a rental. I dont see how it could be anything else, because I am also having abs/esp/bas problems( lights on) they have replaced wheel sensors but no luck. My cruse also stopped working before the engine problems.

I wish there was a 1/4 mile track less than a 2&1/2 hour drive from where I live. I tried to get to the local 1/8th track a few weekends ago, but they closed for the season. I was really wanting to run there and use the G-Tech while running just to see how it compared to a track run. The runs I do on the G-tech I launch just flooring it with the TC on.

Great video Chi. All the mods just show how truly strong this car is. BTW if any of you are looking for video cameras I should be getting my batch of Motorsports Hero cameras after Dec 1st. I am offering a forum member price on them. Check the thread https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=19728

On the resonator removed, is it much louder in the cab of the car?? btw, what kinda power do you think you got from doing it??

I have ported my upper blower, ported my throttle body, k&ns, modified front grill, modified the airintakes completely. I am running 275-35-19's nitto 555 in rear. It runs good, and am looking for some more now. I want to do the pulley and chip, but can you do them at seperate times, and if so, which one first??

Thanks Brian

I did my pulley first and the ECU adjusted VERY nicely. I have post all about that if you search a little you shall find...I then send the ECU in after running around with just the pulley for a few weeks and gained even MORE power.

The car is a little louder in the cabin but not in a bad way at all. It's actually still VERY quiet IMO...

How do those Nitto 555's hook up?

I would love to see you dyno that thing. I plan on doing these same upgrades in the Spring for track season.

He did Dyno it.

He did it on a Mustang Dyno, so the numbers aren't overly impressive...but more 'real world' than the Dyno I used.

Thanks alot!! I am doing the resonators as we speak!!! I will let you know how i like it!!

As for tires, i made a post on the car and the 3 sets of rear tires i have had on it in the 1 month i have had the car. The Michellin Pilots were badass, but a bit pricey!! SO i tried the Kumhos ESC, or something like that in the 275-30-19's, those almost killed me!! Those sucked so bad. so discount took them back. I got the Nitto 555's now, and love them. I got a bit taller wall, and am very happy with them. All in all, i would buy them again.

BTW i have had 73 cars and 6 bikes now. Ranging from 2 SRT0 Vipers, 2 TT Supras, Lightning, Z06, blah blah. So i have had a ton of experience in a good all around daily driver!!
