Srt's left on the market
Srt's left on the market
I have been watching the Kelly Blue book site for SRT's only. Today there was 132 listed but 5 were non SRT's. The lowest price was a coupe with 24,150 miles went for $18,990. The highest was two cars, one coupe with 30 miles and a convertible with 573 both were $33,999. The cheapest convertible on there was $23,985 with 34,221 miles. The last few weeks there are fewer and fewer of the SRT's listed. It's interesting to watch the pricing. The Crossfire is one heck of a bargian! I know that there are others out there that are cheaper and more expensive but I want to keep an eye on the value of these fine cars. The value is not in what you pay but the bargin you get.
Re: Srt's left on the market
I agree totally. I paid $25,000 for my SRT6 coupe with 200 miles on it, and I still feel like the luckiest guy in the world. When I tell people how much I paid, they are astounded! Most people don't know how much these cars cost - but most "know" they are expensive.
Re: Srt's left on the market
I thought mine was a good deal at $24,999 with 48 miles and a scratch on the quarter panel. Well now I think is was an *** kicking deal because the scratch polished right out. At these prices you can't go wrong. Plus the car is cheep to mod with good results, it is truely a WIN WIN situation.
Re: Srt's left on the market
Not going to lie I think I paid $22,000 with 15,000 miles and got $18,500 for my LTD with 35,000 on the clock SUCKERS it was a jag and lotus dealership lol nah my LTD was a hot car and I had 8k in after market parts I lost money, but it all doesn't matter when you step on the gas of this SRT6.
Re: Srt's left on the market
Don't think I could ever own two of the same make and model of anything.
But the SRT sure is a good choice.
A house I ride by on my way to work has four Harley Davisdon Road King's in the garage. All fairly new, parked in a row and covered. I stopped by and talked to the owner and he says he just loves them and ride one every now and then.
Jeez - If I could do that I would have a Viper Jet MK II in my hanger.

Re: Srt's left on the market
Man, I think I got the worst deal mentioned on this thread, and I still feel like I got a bargain. I paid $24,500 for mine with 11,000 miles on the clock and 8/80 warranty. I don't care how you look at it. A sub 5 second car with less than 20k miles on it for half of what it cost new is still a bargain!

I don't mean to be down on you crossbowme. It's just that I wouldn't want killerpilot83 to get the wrong idea. He should go drive one and try it out. That's what I did, and I wanted the car bad enough that I figured I could live without the stick.
To me shifting with a manual is all about control and timing. I really miss shifting. In fact, I hate to say this but that's the only thing left that I still like about my winter car - I get to shift!
It is a superb automatic transmission. But for some of us, there is no substitute for a real manual transmission. I love the car, but that is one thing I would change about my SRT6.

Re: Srt's left on the market
I bought mine 10 days ago on the 9th. Advertised with 76 miles, but when I got to the dealer it had 180 - looks like the rascals took a few last joyrides before I got there! After the drive back to Seattle, it is now sitting in my garage with 400 miles on it.
Black, coupe, paid $23,995.
It will sit for a year till my son gets his license. (Before you go nuts on me - he will get the 4 door sedan and the Xfire will become MY daily driver)!
