That is a good price - if that car was an SRT, it would've been a steal!

That isn't too bad considering when you bought it and what kind of car you bought.

I picked mine up with 18 miles (not 18K or 1,800, just 18) for $24.9 in July.

Yeah i hear you, but if only i would have waited a couple of months, i would have found a much better deal! I was actually thinking about getting rid of this one and purchasing one with under 500 mi on it, but ill probably loose my ***! Although i did want one in black initially, i'm glad i chose the graphite as it's a rare bird when it comes to production #'s...

 

I know what you're saying...if I would've waited a few more months I could've got a much better deal! They are in the low 20's and high teens with under 20K now, but I just HAD TO HAVE IT.

I actually traded my Limited in on it and got a 'fair' amount for it. If I would've waited too much longer, the limited's value would've fallen more. So, even if the SRT would've cost less, I still would've been further upside-down in the limited.

It all evens out in the end, right? Or at least we tell ourselves that.

 

That's just it! As long as you are happy, thats all that matters IMO...And i am VERY happy!

 

I feel the same way. I traded a 2005 10k mile G35 Coupe (has a much higher resale value than the XFire) for my SRT6 with 11,000 miles for $24,500. Oh well, that's how much they were going for around this area at the time (August). You just have to remember that you have a near 50k dollar car sitting in the garage that gets 70k dollar car looks all for the price of a Honda Civic! Pretty good deal actually. I only wish I would have waited for one with almost no miles, but then again, at least mine was being driven and lubricated, not sitting around for 2+ years.

 

Isn't it funny how the G35/350z with the known engine oil issues STILL have a much better resale? Just goes to show you how much marketing does. The 350Z also has a following, but the G35 is 'new' and is still a very desireable car.

I've always liked them. The newest GCoupe is sweet too.

It was nice, but not worth the price IMHO. The plastics weren't that great, it had rattles, buttons on the console stuck occasionally, oh, and that oil issue.

The SRT6 on the other hand is rare, gets many more looks, looks more expensive, feels more expensive, has waaayyy more power, and there isn't an updated model, so it is one of a kind. The G37 looks bloated, is bloated, and lost some of the raw beauty that the G35 had. The G35 did sound excellent though.

 

yea that just about summarizes exactly what i was thinking...

and about srts left in the market... there are still plenty used coupes for sale, but the roadsters are virtually gone... to their rightful owners for long term keeping...
