Depending on the speed limit on that road, you may be OK at 80 on a 65 mph road. But, above 80 thier gonna get you. On the other hand, if your doing 150 and you wiz by a trooper, you might as well keep goin, do a u-turn at the next exit and start your evasive manuevers to get back home.!!
LOL.

There is even a website that will email / page you with a pursuit alert.

Arizona is the best place to test your speed. Roads are made to go
120+. I have only heard one person getting nabbed from the air.
Had it up to 135 mph, very stable. Radar detector doesn't mater at
that point. At that speed, trying to slow down quickly is dangerous.
We mostly cruise the mountain roads. Like the best roller coaster
you have even been on.

As for myself - no. Apkano says I drive like a grandma, maybe he's right. I have only hit ~100 in it. I'm more of a 0-60 guy.

I had the speedometer up to 180 mph this morning, the tac was at 5,800 RPM and the car was solid as a rock, still pulling hard when I let off. With the car having 285's on the back, I would have been running 186 mph. Renntech tuned my ECU for 93 octane, I run 94 octane and they raise my redline to 6,200 RPM so I do think an SRT6 will hit the 200 mph mark, I got this following statement from a tire size calculator. --- When speedometer reads 60 mph (96.6 km/h) actual speed will be 62 mph (99.8 km/h): 3.3% faster. When speedometer reads 60 mph (96.6 km/h) actual speed will be 62 mph (99.8 km/h): 3.3% faster.

Two quick bursts to 140. There's a short stretch of link motorway just behind where I live. Very little traffic, no bridges and a good view up an down both carriageways so easy to look out for Plod.
Still pulling at 140 so could have hit limiter but I run out of road (and courage) Took my next door neighbour on one of the 140 runs...she still talks about it whenever she sees me. Dunn'o who was more thrilled

LMFAO........Just because I had to wait for you guys on I-75! It was pretty sweet looking in the mirror and seeing a whole string of Crossfires though........I just didn't want to lose everyone.
Actually I just hit the high side of 150 a couple of days ago up your way RPM! Going across M-61 towards Gladwin from I-75.......some jacka** in a SN95 mustang thought he could take me.......I watched him get smaller, and smaller, and smaller, and smaller in the rearview mirror!

I slowed down because I was getting into the city and I like my liscence.
Re: Anyone taken theirs to 158?
Had mine to 162 several weeks ago (nice, straight & long 2 lane) & it just stopped pulling from that point on so I'm assuming that my speedo must be off by a few mph's. Whatta ride! The car stayed on the pavement though it started to get that "I'm flying" feeling when I'd hit a bump over 140 or so. That was kinda unnerving so I doubt I'll be doing that again! 'Twas a lotta fun though!!
Re: Anyone taken theirs to 158?
I will be taking mine to the www.texasmile.com event and my goal is 165 in the standing mile with the Pullies and Intakes on the car and a reflash.
