If I had to guess I would say 12.0-12.1 at the track this sunday with a few mph in the traps as well.

And may God have mercy on your CV Axles and rear end...

I hope the conditions are right and you break into the 11's.

I don't believe that increasing valve lift on the SRT engine wil gain more power, the air is already being forced into the cylinders. but cnc porting to the intake ports along with a different valve design will definatly make some ponies.

Received a follow up call from inmotion today and spoke more about how the car was tuned. Basically the new chip inside the ecu can do whatever you tell inmotion you want it to do! He can custom tune around any setup and will eventually tune my ecu for 100 octane! The great part is once you pay for the custom tune you get FREE updates if you decide to add any mods!

The SLK/Crossfire have smaller openings on the sides of the radiator. The drivers side is completely blocked from direct airflow.

I would of kept the tune you had... leaving it around 11's where nice and relatively safe tune... yes, u'r not at complete optimum settings... but leaves some room incase of a failure in a part.
As for breaking loose in 4th?... thats a bit much.
Hope the weather holds out this weekend and you can get some good runs in!

As for the tune I do have the stock chip that I can always put back in for daily driving. I don't think I will ever do that but it is there just in case. It still get's down to 12.0-12.1 right at redline which is a pretty safe number from what I have been told.

Be sure to get track conditions so we can compare it locally. Thanks and good luck. I think the last time the weather was perfect for your track. Hopefully you will have similiar conditions. Otherwise you can factor your numbers with your first run conditions and compare apples to apples. It's possible to run slower just based on weather conditions and not necessarily if your new mods made a difference. Those last few tenths are the hardest to get. Have fun.

Re: InMotion ECU tune Review/Results
I have been considering reprogramming the ECU for our SRT-6 engine to get some extra HP and torque. However, is there any evidence to indicate that our AMG 3.2 Liter V6 Kompressor engine is not outputting 349 hp w/ 332 lb-ft of torque as it does in the SLK 32 AMG. Where did that 19 hp/22 lb-ft of torque disappear to? Did AMG insist that Chrysler modify the ECU software so that it wasn’t that obvious we were getting one of their engines. Or, did they insist that Chrysler just give lower specs. I don’t want to perform a major upgrade, just reprogram the ECU for a little extra oomph plus, perhaps, better gas mileage (since premium will soon reach $4.00 per gallon). However, there is a huge lack of agreement whether an ECU tune will do that.
