That's absolutely reasonable. Thanks for the quick response!

Great time...

Get some drags and go 11's. You got 2 more weekends to do it.

Did you see a yellow '03 Cobra running?

I recall a yellow mustang...not sure if it was a cobra or not. The highlight of the day was when a female in a ford lightening was still in reverse and floored it backwards from the line...she caught herself at the last minute just in time to avoid the car behind her.

Well, I guess there isn't much else I can add to this...

I can only guess that mine would be running similar times with the pulley. My best was a 13.3 @105. I'm excited about these revelations. Now I just need to figure out how the fix my "BROKE"en bank account...

BTW, if you and NeedsWings don't join www.myslips.com, I'm gonna slap BOTH OF YOU!

Just click my sig. It's MUCH nicer than dragtimes...

Wow... that's impressive... too bad you were a pansy and didn't come out the day we had our SRT club out there... but that's ok... sissy! lol j/k.

I haven't been to the GTO site yet... but i can only imagine what you have posted up on that site already lol.

As for the car... i would get your A/F's checked right away before anything else, just to be on the safe side. Great Times!!!

Those M6 GTO's are thought to launch man...I had an A4 that was easy to launch with headers/exhaust/tune and was getting consistent 13.6@99 mph so don't be too hard on yourself. I have all the gear to swap that clutch fluid btw. I would actually bring the kit to the track with me and swap it out there...after a few passes it would turn into gunk anyway. I was told the problem is the reservoir is too small and the small amount of fluid in there gets red hot and goes bad very quickly especially during hard driving. My Z06's pedal would ALWAYS be stuck to the floor on my second or third pass and it was very frustrating. Let me know if you need help with that...

An A/F ratio check is extremely critical at this point. Anyone know what fuel injectors we're running in these cars. With my '04 cobra, there came a point where the computer can tell the fuel system to deliver more fuel, but the injectors were maxed out. If you're running dangerously lean, you may just have to upgrade to a higher lb/hr injector to make up for the discrepancy, assuming the ECU doesn't have a max cap on the amount of fuel it will allow to the engine...but if that were the case, I'd expect a CEL or code of some sort to be thrown.

Congrats on those times...sounds like your car is a real scalded ape now! I've got my fingers crossed on your A/F ratio.

I'm going to see if any local shops could check that for me...I have a feeling if they were off something would have blown up by now...

Or the MB ECU would 'de-tune' the car because it would see a problem.

Most of these cars 'know better' these days. I'm anxious to see A/F readings though - you need to take Rob's offer up and have him run it for you.

I'm wondering how or where I could get this done...Is this something only a dyno could show?

There are gauges for it, but I'm not sure if any of them are compatible with our cars.

The best/cheapest route would be to pay for a few pulls on the dyno with wideband A/F metering. It would also tell you your HP/TQ, added bonus!

If needswings is nearby, why not let him check it?

He's not that close...probably a 4-6 hour drive. I think he was just going to plug her into the wideband. I just called a local shop and they may do it today!

If you have the money, the safest and best way to have a good running car at this point would be to have it dyno tuned "CHIPPED" >>> that will show everything and it will set your car up at the most power it can running safe...you may not see any early signs of detonation happening right away so its always best to be on the safe side...Good luck and great numbers!!! Im very curious to see how this cars a/f numbers turn out.
