Default FS: SL55 Intake Setup for SRT-6

Left and Right SL55 Air boxes, and the Left and Right Inlet Hoses.
All you'll need is the Splitter (P/N 113-090-01-29) and hoses for about $100 from OEMPartsDirect.

I paid $250 for these 2 weeks ago and never used them. I did trim the right airbox so it would clear the oil cap on the C32's.
Best offer over $225 takes them. Includes the OEM Air Filters.

These are larger than the C32/SRT-6 Air boxes, allowing more air to flow in.
This setup showed 15 hp on a C32.

Picture of what it looks like installed: (this set is brand new, in the factory Boxes).

BTW, these SL55 Boxes have 25% more volume than the C32 and SRT-6 Boxes.

I'd like to see a pic of just the SL55 Y-Pipe...a friend of mine is wanting to convert to that Y-Pipe and try to make his own intake.

Any pics of that item?

Thanks,
Shawn

I have a full SL55 setup on order - from the Y-pipe all the way to the intake tube along with two green air filters.

If yours are new-in-box - why are you selling them? did they not work out? Can't you take them back to the dealer?

I might add that is a good price$$

I believe he is a MB owner, and he told me he decided not to use them on his project (on the MB Forum).

It is a good price if that is the route you are taking.

What did you need to do to mod it to clear the oil cap ? and is this applicable to the SRT6 too ?

just trimmed about a 1/2 inch from the airbox.
applies to STR6/SLK32 too, as it is the same engine.

FINAL PRICE: $150 picked up in Boston. add $25 for shipping, 3% for paypal.

Is it just trimming or do you need to any sort of repair to the area too?
