I really hope you get low 12's out of it. I was going to say a conservative 12.5's at 111-112, but i hope you're right! I am definitely considering these two mods! Can't wait for the results!

More traction will be needed before long.

I'd look at getting that limited slip and cut some better 60's.

Agreed...I wish they made a DR in 19 inch! Maybe some regular crossfire 18's on back with DR's?

I think I have heard/seen that before as well.

Either way, you'll be beating up on stock Z06's!

I wonder why my mph was so high on my best run...if you could repeat whatever I did (or didn't do), you would be faster yet. I'm not sure what I did differently though that gave me 3 more mph.

Byron dragway is known for low trap speeds (2-3 mph) On one of my runs I hit 109.2 but ran a 13.0.

I think I can come close to 115 for a trap speed now but we shall see!

As I stated in another thread:
ASA lists the FN1, which I believe is the same a the ZR2 that tire rack carries, in a 18x10 with a 25 mm offset, slap some 295/35 BFG's, or even better 305/35 Mickey Thompson, and I think your traction problems will be solved. They are probably about $300 a pc then throw in the tires your looking around $1,200.

I'd be happy with that...I just think the seat of the pants feel is A LOT faster than my Z06 which ran a 12.6. I'm planning on going sunday so we shall see...you been back to the track with yours yet?

I just put the intake on today and I can't float down the track. It has literally rained 7 inches in 4 days and its still coming down. The tracks in my area are shutting down for the season, so I may not be able to get to the track again before spring.

I'm not the kind of guy to say I told you so, but I've been trying to get somebody to use the front wheels on the back (at the drags)
for years, just to take advantage of the 1" smaller tire height.
But with your cars additional power, using BFG Drag Radials, as wide as the front wheel width will accept should be the ticket.
With a 24.5" tall tire, your cars 3.07 rear end should feel more like a 3.27. But if the Limited uses the same differential as the SRT (with a different ratio) you might be ahead of the game if you pick up a differential at a salvage yard from a limited, to install your new "posi" unit in. Then it would pull more like you had a 3.45 gears.
I'd love to see you get your car into Viper territory.

Haha nope not yet...Bright and early tomorrow.

Just for kicks I went down this road that has a speed limit sign maybe 100 yards up from a stop sign...I used to floor the Z06 and check my speed when I passed the sign...the Z06 would be at 60 mph by the time I went past the sign...I did it in the SRT today twice and both times between 70-75 mph! I am getting very excited myself!

Wow, good job with the mods. I was in bliss just installing the sprint booster. Now you got me thinking bigger.

Just had a thought, with the intake and pulley, is the stock ECU capable of adding enough fuel? Any chance you could be running dangerously lean, causing the large power increase you are experiencing, but possibly hurting your motor?

Maybe...but it still retains the stock belt so I doubt it...this benz ecu seems pretty doggone good to me. It has adjusted perfectly to the pulley and intake. My times tomorrow hopefully live up to all the hype I have caused.

True. I'm sure if it was running too lean it would be smart enough to pull timing. I'd be curious to see what your A/F ratio is at on the dyno. Maybe you can make that happen? Good luck tomorrow! Make us proud.

It's supposed to be high 30s low 40's tomorrow during my first run...we all know how much harder these cars pull in the cold. Hopefully the track is sticky and I can make the SRT gang proud!
