Default Dealer's service computer

I just stopped by a five-star dealer today to modify my alarm to chirp upon activating/de-activating. The dealer stated their service computer kept giving out error messages and wouldn't allow the entry into my car's diagnostic and changes menu. I'll try another dealer tomorrow. Has anyone had the same problem at a dealer before?

You get the horn to honk with the keyless entry??? YES!!! I love you for pointing that out...

Actually, I don't get the "chirp" right now but was attempting to have a dealer switch on the function as described in an earlier post.
