Default Random acts of Vandalism...

So last night around 3 am (during this great nor'easter we are having here), I wake up to 2 loud thuds. Window is open, so I look out only to see a car driving away. I didn't think too much of it, so I went back to sleep. Well, woke up today to go get her inspected only to find my windshield is smashed!! WTF! Glass everywhere inside...I couldn't believe it. I haven't even had the car 3 weeks and this shhht happens. I have no enemies and the neighborhood has been great for as long as i have been here. Apparently they got a BMW too that was parked up the street. Some people are just unbelievable...Motherf'ers. I hope they come around again. I hope. Anyone have similar experiences?

I am sorry to hear that your wind screen was smashed. It could have been the MB CLK owner down the street. They are always jealous.

I dunno if this counts, or if it even was vandalism, but within a week of gettin my car, I was missing my 2 valve stem covers on my drivers side. I know this doesn't compare, but a lot of people get jealous.

I think this is the culprit around here. He usually misses me and hits the car!

i had my car egged a few days after purchase ... at least it was not keyed like my previous cars ... same here, no enemies, just random vandalism ... the world is becoming more and more competitive, the ones that have what it takes will rise up and above, those that do not will be left in the gutter where their minds will be infested with jealousy and anger towards those that made it ... this is a release of this anger towards the world ...

just don't let it affect you, its just a car and you work hard and make good money ... years down the road you will be far ahead and they will still be in the gutter ...

If you own your home, you really need to put up exterior camera's, they are cheap enough to buy, put up yourself, and then install the DVR to record everything. Please look into it, and even if this never happens again (hopefully it won't) your sure to do something stupid in front of one of these camera's that you can look back on and laugh about later.

Maybe it was someone who you cut off in traffic or just pissed off, so they followed you home for revenge. It's probably just a couple drunk punks bored off their *** looking for trouble.

That sux. Scumbags. At least windshields can be replaced fairly easily - would have been more of a headache if it'd been keyed or banged up. I've had crap done to past cars - nothing to the Xfire. Hopefully it'll stay that way.

I feel you pain...I had my black limited (traded in for SRT6) keyed on the rear right quarter panel and then the entire left side of my grey SRT6 and both happened over at my girls house...obviously someone either just doesn't like me or xfires or both...All I can say is that they are COWARDS and someday it will come back and bite them in the ***...I would be nice to catch them in the act just so I can release a CAN OF WHOOP *** on them...

Actually, this is exactly what I'm going to do! I don't own the home, but I will be putting a camera setup somewhere outside so its nicely hidden. I am probably going to print up some flyers too and hand them out around the neighborhood until these punks get caught!

Ummm. what's wrong with a Solstice? I just bought a 2007 GXP. It sits next to my SRT-6 in the garage.

I was looking at those too. I think they are the best thing GM has built besides the Vette. Actually, those are the only two GM vehicles i'd ever consider.

It is the wannabe Crossfire. And the whopping 177 HP under the hood really makes it worth while...Ha!

The Solstice looks pretty good...until they put the top up!

At least my Crossfire still looks gorgeous, top up or down!

The GXP is very quick and packs a nice punch. I'm not sure it's a wanna be, because it is actually successful for GM.

I was in San Antonio last year, staying at my friend's house where it only had a 2 car garage, so, my XFIREX stayed outside for 2 freaky nights!

I have to borrow my friend's wireless baby monitor and put it in my XFIREX while I watch at the monitor in my room. Those 2 nights have been sleepless nights for me and next time it'll be wise to just stay in the hotel!

I could kill anybody roughing up my XFIREX and knock on wood, I have been lucky for now!
