re: SRT6 Serial Numbers - Original thread closed
Hi everyone,
New to the boards. I just bought my Gray 2005 SRT6 Roadster yesterday. SN # is 060044.
I love the car, very quick and handles like a dream.
Thanks everyone!
Jim

BLACK SRT6 ROADSTERS ARE THE BEST. IMHO ...DEBATABLE TO THOSE WITH GRAY ECT. XFIRES. I wish I could predict the future. These cars are keepers. They may never mirror the Cuda's or Challenger's as high priced collectables, but they are unique and will be one of a kind in 20 years.
Everyday I look forward to driving to work and I actually enjoy cleaning the Crossfire.

My database is up to 490 SRT6s. Once I hit 500, I'll post current stats.
There have been A LOT of SRT6s coming up for sale in the past couple of weeks. I noticed that in the last 24 hours, 29 were added to Cars.com.

Also, there percentage (per DCX) of 2,016 coupes being 68.5% of SRT6 production and 928 roadsters being 31.5%; is close to what I'm showing.
So far, with 490 SRT6s in the database, I show ~ 72% being coupes and ~ 28% being roadsters.

What the dealer told me was Chrysler had been holding onto all these SRT's (for special orders) and no one was ordering them for $50K+ (for the roadster). So ..., Chrysler auctioned them off to the dealers ..., that's why so many are surfacing and at decent prices.

BTW for forum members the Grey is the least reported roadster, while SSB is the lowest for the coupes, and yes, SSB is the lowest reported by both.
43% of members reporting have gone the open air route. So we obviously have a larger percentage than the overall going topless.

Great job RPM.
Sometimes keeping track mostly useless trivia can be so much fun!
Maybe we should submit some SRT6 questions to Mr. Trebek on Jeopardy? LMAO.

If there were categories like: Chrysler Crossfires, Beer, Seinfeld episodes, etc. - I'd be a millionaire!

So me having a SSB SRT-6 Coupe, makes it even more rare that I thought.
I do like the colour too, but can't decide if I prefer the Aero Blue.
Please refresh me on where the serial number is and what part you need as I still haven't posted that bit on here yet.
Oh yes timed 0-60 Mph in 4.7 sec's at the weekend, with Traction control off. Not 100% accurate as done with a stop watch, but an indication that it certainly does fly !!!

The serial number is the last 5 digits of the VIN.
re: SRT6 Serial Numbers - Original thread closed
Even though my XFIRE is not the highest VIN anymore because of the 2006's out there... Its still the highest 2005 SRT6. WELL AT LEAST IT WAS AT ONE TIME... lol.
Keep up with the statistics. They are interesting to look at.
