I saw that. It could turn out to be a rare one, but I'm wondering how many more will appear. Guess time will tell. Hope he plans on holding on to it.

 

I tend to agree that they may be a few more '06 SRTs out there. We shall see...but still hope it's a rare one...

 

i hope its bs and the 2006 srt crossfire does not exist at all...

 

2006 SRT-6: My local dealer says there are none for 2006. However, another dealer says they do exist, but he hasn't seen one. When I call Chrysler they say there were none. When you go on the Crossfire site, it does not include the SRT-6 for 2006.
So then why does the 2006 Crossfire catalog prominently display the SRT-6 on the cover, with SRT-6 badges on the front fenders ?

 

Well, at least one exists. A new forum member just bought a Sapphire Silver Blue Roadster that looks to be indeed a 2006 (10th VIN digit is a 6).
His does not have the additional SRT6 emblems.
Chrysler doesn't know what's going on with these cars. I spoke to a rep at HQ a couple of weeks ago and he assured me there were NO 2006 SRT6s. Then a week later - the one mentioned above shows up on ebay.

Purchased a Saphire Silver Blue Roadster SRT6 with VIN 1C3AN75N05X052847.

 

I have a 2005 SRT-6 Coupe, Color is Graphite and the last five of the vin is 44781.

 

Here are two crossfires S/N's from my neighbors cars in Matlacha (Cape Coral, Florida).

#1 Black roadster '05 SRT6 S/N 48904 DOB 10/04 purchased in Detroit.
This one is idenical to my two xfires although he has the Nav system.
#2 Red roadster '05 LMT S/N 56523 DOB 02/05 lease Ft. Myers.
