Bill, you're too funny! Now I'm _REALLY_ curious. How did you get a pic of that car's build plate? Was it one of the ones you looked at buying?

Ok, so I understand the 06 being made in 2005, I see that at the assembly plant everyday, But how do you figure 0113 is at the end being a #92x or #93x??

First, your 0113 is Day of Month & Hour Built.(Not you VIN which in your case is very similar)

Well it's quite simple really, if you read all of this thread, or just post # 457 ,

If 61033 is the end or very Close, then your 61011 (see below), is also very close, & not every # in between is a SRT6, more than likely.

I'll ad my serial number later..... where do you find it, is it the MDH number. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to automobiles-

 

SF, my s/n is 60387 w/ a mfg date of 05/05. His was probably mfg'd in April or May along with mine since the s/n's are so close.

Your serial number is the last six digits of the VIN. You can find the VIN by looking at the bottom driver's side of your windshield. It shows under the glass. It will be a long number - 14 digits, I think. The last six are the serial number, sometimes called the build number.

Strange that your VIN in before mine 060113/60387 but your build date is later then mine 06/05..05/05. That does not make any since. Unless your VIN is wrong as you stated. Maybe your VIN is actually 61013 ?????????

Very likely to be one of the last if not the last 2005 SRT

My Post # 466 above (Which I put together Very Carefully) points out his Error in his own Numbers, he got them mixed up.

He got the last Six of the Vin, switched with the MDH (6 digits), in another post of his mixed in.

These two sets are Probably the Correct ones for his XF:
(These #'s of his make sense & fit the sequence)

Thank you. I read so many posts. I think I am getting crosseyed as opposed to crossfired. I have to go to a 3 point so I can read them after I type them. LOL

 

I've just purchased an essentially new 2006 Crossfire SRT6 with a vin #64177 and a little over 800 miles on it at auction. Doing a quick search on the net it appears there were very few 06's built, supposedly around 12-13...though unconfirmed. I haven't been able to detemine definitively how may 06s were made or what the true last vin number really is. I've read a few of these blogs and it still doesn't appear very clear. Does anyone know the answer???

 

What Color is yours, Coupe? 64179 is latest in US if I remember right, I've got 64172 SSB Roadster, built 9/28/05 @ 1200 Hours, was yours the same Day & Hour? 64169 is a Black Roadster, built the same hour as mine.
