That's the First Real Theft of a Crossfire I ever ran into! I guess it can happen!

 

I guess someone with a limited or basic XF wanted to be a d**k and have an SRT. Or a MB owner blew their engine. Or rather then run their SRT into a mud slide or a tree or didn't have time for the meece to fill up the exhaust system with puppy chow wanted to put in an insurance claim.

Strange things can happen!

I was wondering if there was anyway to tell what number your vehicle was of that 980??

 

Not Without a Complete List & then you would have to go in and find all the STR6s out of 75,000+ built, & count up to yours. Do you want to do that?

What are the last 5 Digits of your VIN? I can give you a rough WAG.

 

The last 5 numbers are: 61011.
I would have thought that they would have some way to track each vehicle by number. When the vehicle is assembled each part has a bar code that is tied to the VIN number.

Thats a bit higher then mine which has a BD of 05/05 and SN is 60387

 

The last 2005 I have in my list is #64169 and right behind it is #61033.

And just because it will no doubt be asked next, the first one on the list is #25366.

The list I have only has 1036 build numbers, so there could easily be earlier or later 2005 SRT's out there.

64169 is a 2006, not an '05.

 

I was afraid of that, which is why I listed the next one back.
