I haven't had time to crunch the numbers lately. Last check, the percentages were almost the same, just more SRT6s listed.
Also, I see very few SRT6s that aren't already in the database.
I'll post the #s when I get time.

Thanks for your effort & time RPM!
Any chance we can Break out the Non US/CA SRT6? (there are so many Crossfire's in every country in Total)
(Look at the new members coming in Russia, Ukraine, Korea, NZ, AU, GB, Germany, Spain, Italy, etc etc )
SF

I keep track of every SRT6 anyone finds, regardless of location.

The reason I mentioned that was that if we took away the Total # of Non-US/CA SRT6s, we would have the # of SRT6s in US/CA.
(Total Worldwide SRT6 Production was less than 3,000) SF

Why not just firm it up into a formal registry...you know like the Shelby Club has, but without the lawsuits. With so few cars there's definitely value in having something to track the history on these things -- knowing which convertibles have gone on to the great salvage yard in the sky or which coupes are pulling funeral duty right now by Hezbollah in Lebanon (can you launch a home-made rocket from the roof of one of these???). I'm sure folks would kick in a few bucks to help pay the effort in exchange for the obligatory certificate of authenticity and origin -- and 'Ol Shelby wouldn't be entitled to a cut.

Good idea. I would not know how to set that up though, do you?

It still starts with a database or secure web-page like you've been putting together. Maybe a few more fields but I don't think any of the registry's capture info beyond the following: vin, color, mileage, coupe/convertible, place of registration, owner name and address, date acquired, condition, amd modifications. For a small fee used to offset the cost of upkeeping the database, owners are issued a certificate of registry that memorializes this info and the vehicle is listed in the SRT-6 Registry. Most of these kind of certificates are just put together in MS Word and printed on decent paper. That's a non-issue.

If you want to gauge interest, suggest starting a thread as to how many people would pay a nominal fee for a more formal certificate of registry (and access to the registry database). What additional info would they like to see preserved?

The math is pretty simple -- if 1,000 people pay five bucks a head, that's $5k available to defray the cost. If the database is done in HTML (web non-sense), registry subscribers can be given access as well. I'm sure there must be a bunch of motivated forum members in that business.

Let it happen. RPM, you have the data. The question is who will be the keeper of the information and who can get it put together? Who are the computer whizzes out there that can put the web together? Can it be an attachment of some sort to this forum?

I would be willing to donate a few dollars. I would be very interested in seeing all the who, wheres reqarding all the Roadster SRT's that are out there in never never land.

Let's see I have 2 black roadster SRT's. RPM has one. Hey that only leaves 925 or about three hundred and ninety seven other black SRT roadsters in the world. lol

Everytime I run across one listed somewhere - I will post it here. Maybe if we get others to do it too, we can track most of them down.

The list posted yesterday is from the beginning of this thread. I am up to over 1,000 SRT6s in the database now. I will check these new ones when I get a chance.
