And that & your info above, give me an Idea & reason why these are appearing in Europe.

The probable reason why Chrysler said there were "No '06 Srt6s", is that the last ones made after the USA Cut-off Date, were all suppose to Stay in Europe & still be Titled 2005's under their custom of Dating the Model Year! However someone fouled up, as always happens in Big Companies, & let some of those "06's" be shipped to the USA.

I think we may have found an answer to the " '06 SRT6 Mystery ", (IMHO)!

Makes sense ^^

Hey RPM, you should post your entire database in an excel format (you could remove names) so people could sort it and such by date purchased and where (although you probably didn't capture that data) - look for gaps and then you could see where the nearest made SRT is at, where it went etc...not sure if this would be something anything anybody wants but might be interesting. It would also be interesting to see how many "new" 2005s showed up in your DB in the past 6 mos. Just a thought.

The forum doesn't accept Excel uploads.
Also, I don't keep location or owner data. All I keep is model year, color, last 6 digits of VIN, and body (coupe/roadster). I also note if the SRT6s are salvage, etc.
Lately I haven't run across many SRT6s that are not already in my database.

Rumor i had is that chrysler marketing brought over 5 for the auto shows before the decision was made to stop SRT production. I know that my car and McCombcliff 64172 (2006) came from the marketing department and mine has an unusual paint color.

Wow mine is 64168 so yours in only 4 after mine. Mine was owned by a director at Chrysler HQ England for 1 yr and only did 1,800 miles in that time.

RPM - this is a long thread - are there some SRT-6 curiosities? Like the unique paint mentioned above?
that you can briefly summarize in a post, when you get a chance?

I've never seen anything about special paint, except for the one post on the forum.
The only different SRT6 is the RH drive one in the UK on the forum. It has the additional fender badges with the different SRT logos.

I have a 280SE 3.5 cab. that is one of the lowest runs of MB at around 1200--which is just to say the 900+ SRT-6 cabs is quite a stellar production figure. Maybe everyone else already knew it, but I thought that "paint" post was titanic information. Thanks for answering my question.

I'd like to see a close up shot too. What do you know about it and how did your family end up with both?
