Looks like we were both wrong RPM. My paperwork from the dealer all said "titanium" but now I am holding the Chrysler brochure for my car and the correct name of the color is "GRAPHITE METALLIC".

The list is still being added to, but I don't find very many VINs that I don't already have.

Is your SRT6 a 2006 (10th VIN digit denotes year 5 for 2005, 6 for 2006)?

 

I thought it was a 2005 but who knows. I didn't write the whole number down but I have a few more of the last bit : 6X064168 if that helps ???

How come it is '06 if it was manufactured in sept '05 ??? I'm confused here. Is there any bonus to it being an '06 ?

 

All cars are like that in United States... after all how do you think '08s are out already obviously they were not produced in '08...

My car for example is an '05 model built in september '04...

In other countires though production years and model years are equivelant... and if you were to take your car to another country ie. europe it would be re-registered to the year it was produced...

Well he is from England, you missed that!

And that & your info above, give me an Idea & reason why these are appearing in Europe.

The probable reason why Chrysler said there were "No '06 Srt6s", is that the last ones made after the USA Cut-off Date, were all suppose to Stay in Europe & still be Titled 2005's under their custom of Dating the Model Year! However someone fouled up, as always happens in Big Companies, & let some of those "06's" be shipped to the USA.


I think we may have found an answer to the " '06 SRT6 Mystery ", (IMHO)!
