I almost felt bad for the dealership. They goofed on the ebay post, and somehow the reserve price was not set. Thus I won the bidding on a fantastic roadster with only 6K miles on it, for the low low price of $25,100. Needless to say I flew down immediately and grabbed the SRT before he found a way to back out of the deal.

Here's the ebay link:

That was a lucky buy, Congratulations!
I had a similar mistake on a Dealer Quote of $24,995, for a Brand New 10 miles SSB '05 SRT6 Roadster (Conv) "your pick of any of 10 SRT6s", however, the Roadsters were suppose to be $5,000. more. But, she kept her oral quote. I don't know of anyone who has got a "New" under 100 miles SRT6 Roadster for under $25,000.? I'm a very Happy Camper!

Man, now I feel like I got ripped off. I paid $23,000 for a car with nearly 11,000 miles on it.

I haven't read all 220+ posts so you may have already answered this. Are you compiling all this info and will you post it for us? Is this already being done in this or another thread or site? Thanks!

Go back three pages to page 21. I know that will be tough but you can do it.

In a nutshell:
10th digit is model year. Yours should be a 5.
Last 6 digits are build number. For instance, mine is 056182 or the 56,182nd Crossfire built.

People post the following and I keep track of all of them (SRT6s only):
Model year
Body style (coupe or roadster)
Color
Last 6 digits of VIN (or last 5 since I doubt production will reach 100,000).

I just bought Build #53507

Graphite SRT-6 Roadster

Please add it to your stats, looks like graphite is the rarest of the rare.

Shawn,

I purchased it from a private party in Crocker, MO. It was just delivered here in Vegas last night. Currently has 6,500 miles. I won't tell you how much I paid, but less than Bonham Chrysler wants for their SSB roadster currently on EBay. I will tell you the owner sold me an unused SRT luggage set for $100. That's should give you an idea of the deal I made on the car.

Sounds like you did well!

My co-worker was looking for a graphite vert. Bonham had one really cheap ($24,999) with mileage in the teens, but they sold it quick.

He ended up buying an SSB Roadster, same as the one on ebay...He's happy with it, and even at that price you can't complain. BUT, we all like to spend less and get more, right?

What does all of this "sampling" mean? That's not total number of cars built is it? There are over 2,000 of them total. I am curious to know how many of each color there are total in the world.
