Welcome to the forum. I would suggest you check out the online traders (autotrader.com) to see what prices are and the general market. I got a fantastic deal last summer on my coupe. So hunt around a bit, and come back to us if you need advice or commentary.

Welcome to the forum, also check the Cars.com website, it contains crossfires that are for sale by dealers and individual sellers. Good Luck!

If you want a coupe SRT-6, one can be had for low 20's.

Expect to may upper 20's for a SRT-6 roadster.

One of the members here is selling his SRT6 roadster and it's got the pulley and ECU swap. It's a very fast car.

I thank all of you for your suggestions. I have found a new SRT6 Roadster for $34,000.00 with full warranty only 119 miles on it, so I think I am about ready to pull the trigger on it.

Mine has 5k miles on it, renntech upgrades, pulley's and ecu, rear badges shaved off and the mopar wind diffuser. I'll sell it to you for $32,500. The accessories with installation are around $4,500.00. Mine is all black.

I'd really consider buying 65cuda's srt-6 instead of that one. He has very low miles on it and loves cars, i'm sure he takes very good care of them.

I'm also sure that if you're buying a SRT-6 you want a fast car - his has a lot of upgrades. You really wont' find a better deal anywhere.

I nearly kicked myself in the *** after I bought my limited coupe when I saw what I could've had. If I saw a deal like that before I bought my limited, man.

That's the car I was talking about.

Yes, I have been looking at that car on Ebay but it would be nice to have a warranty on a brand new car. I'm sure the warranty on his car has basically been voided with the hop-ups and I'm sure it has been ran very hard. Black would be my last color choice as well. Black is beautiful, but I am **** with a clean scratch free car and I have 5 others to take care of as well.

Been ran very hard? I took it to the track twice, to see the before/after with the pulley's. The car in my stable that gets ran hard is my 10 second truck. Once you drive something like that, driving this car just isn't fun.

Hope you did not take that wrong!! Did not mean to insult you or your car! Your ebay add says that it has not been to the track. On this forum you talk about running the car at the track?? Once again I am assuming that there is no warranty on this car?? Is that correct? Thanks.

The remainder of the factory 3/36 warrenty would still be on the car.
As for the Renntech mods...I would almost bet you my car that the service techs would never even know there is aftermarket pulleys on it...
the new pulleys look just like the stock ones, just slightly different in size.
I also highly doubt that they'd see any changes made to the programming of the ECU by just hooking up their DRB's.
Besides all that, they'd have to prove that your mods caused the problem your having with the car when you take it in for warrenty, in order to void coverage.

What is the remainder of the factory warranty?

The car has a factory bumper to bumper warranty of 3 years or 36k miles, which ever comes first.
So...lets just say if he bought his 05' car in May and has 5k miles on it now, the warranty is still good until the gauge says 36k or May of 08', which ever happens first.

I totally understand that, but what I am looking for is when he bought the car (what the in service date is, so I know how much time is remaining)?

I'm sure if you PM him he'll be more than happy to give you anything you need.

Also, I hope we aren't coming off as sales people! Most of us are just regulars along the board and know 65cuda. He's a good guy who has a lot of cars, and his SRT-6 just isn't his cup of tea, i'm sure.

Sorry, I'm traveling and have limited internet. I bought it from a dealer in Blacksburg, VA in July. The owner of the dealership had bought it, 75 years old and drove it about 2,000 miles then parked it inside his dealership. I took 2 long trips in it, that is where the miles on my end came from.

I only bought it to tide me over till my truck was running again.

If you are concerned about warranty left on the car, buy a extended 150,000 mile warranty, because the crossfires are pretty much bullet proof and the chance of anything going wrong before 100,000 miles, that would cost any significant money, is very unlikely. A 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on any car these days is literally useless, but especially on a Mercedes platform.

If you are going to spend the $$, buy the Roadster. Depends
where you live though. I'm in AZ, it is top down weather about
10 months of the year.
