Default looking for part

I need a new rubber gasket or seal that seals the air intake part with the air filters to the top of the engine. It is round and fits on the underside of the intake assembly and its about. 2.5 or 3 inches in diameter.I have tried to order it twice from 2 different Chrysler dealers and both times got a rubber ring that looks like it would slide onto a pipe.Does anyone know where to get one?

Did you order by part number or description? If by part number, what part number are you getting that is incorrect?
What engine do you have - standard or supercharged?
Also, a picture is worth 1000 words, so if you can snap a picture of the old gasket and a picture of where it goes on the engine, that would be helpful as well.

Thanks - RL

OK Esteemed Forum Members

Mr. ***** is in need of a part and I am running out of options of what it might be. We have traded emails and PMs trying to figure out what he needs. He has tried ordering by description and received a P/N 05096512AA from Chrysler (wrong part) and also a 112 159 000 80 from M/B (also, wrong part).

He was having trouble navigating the Forum, so he sent me a picture of the part he needs and I am posting it for him. Take a look and hopefully someone can recognize the seal he needs by the pic and the description in his first post.

He has a 2005 Limited Roadster, 6 speed.

Thanks all!!

RL

Try Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market for Air Box/Air Cleaner :
I see one listed for $35 !!!!

Best bet is to call the recycler ( all phone #'s are listed ) to ensure you are getting what you want.

Good Luck !

This came up once before and the part number was identified. I'll try looking.

Edit
I found this number, it's in one of my posts. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post596159
Donut seal for engine cover to MAF unit, Mercedes #1120940180
Now I'll check to see if it is an OK number.

Edit
Looks good.
