Default Tools needed for water in trunk

My roadster has been at the dealer for new top for two weeks. Might me ready Tuesday. I don't want to accept the car back without an internal and external inspection including checking for water in the trunk. Would like to be prepared with how-to and what tools I must have.

Thanks.

My thought is if there is water in the trunk I will bring it to their attention in an attempt to get future responsibility for any resulting issues. The service adviser had agreed to keep the car covered and it's been in the open.

Hi there..check the gromits either side of the hatch...I had water in my trunk and read all the bad storys about leaking rear spoiler..I swisted them around and the water stopped..seems they were not fitting right...its worth a shot.

My wifes rear window fell out and we thought the car was covered. We foud about 4 inches of water in the trunk. How we found out we had a problem was the lights would not turn off and the car would not lock/unlock. Make a long story short the security module is in the bottom well of the trunk and it does not like being immersed in water. Found one for $600 delivered.
