2005 roadster with just over 5000 miles. Washed it today and saw a spot on passenger side bottom of the top that looked wet. Wet yes, With oil. Seems to be leaking from mechanism.

Anyone with a similar issue?? And was just saying last week that extended warrantee has not been needed so far........going to keep my mouth shut from now on. Now to find a dealer with a xfyre Tech, although the may send it out to a top shop. Top is covered by extended warrantee for rear glass. Will be looking closely at the seal before bringing it in.

 

Gday , Had same problem too. Saw oil left hand side and also squirted onto seat belt. It was a damaged hose/ fitting . It was fixed by a local Chrysler dealer even though we are the second owner and the warranty had (just) expired. It was also 2005 model year. Dave
