Hi everyone. I have been awol for awhile, but it did not mean I was not thinking of y'all from time to time.

The radio antenna was taken from my car (2008 XF LTD) - is there now a market for these items???

So can someome please tell me if I can simply hit Advance Auto Parts for a replacement?

I was going to order a shorty ant. from ebay. If the reception is good you can have mine. I will let you know. I'm ordering it right now.

 

Trenzman - that is such a generous, thoughtful offer! Thank you! I did do some on-line research and found that I can get a replacement for a small charge (vicinity of $20). I understand how you might like/want to have a 'spare' -so please do not feel obligated - you may want to keep yours.

Right now, what bothers me more, is why would someone want to take the antenna??? Is it a kid type prank (not thinking, just looking for mischief) or have I made someone jealous about the pizazz and envious of the car? But that kind of stuff can drive you crazy..........

It may have just came loose and fell off. That can happen over time... The shorties work fine, I have had one for 3-4 years now... If I can find my old one, you are welcome to it, as I like the shorty better...
