15,000 of those miles are from GTGs. It's funny, I keep spending money to make it nicer to just park it in the garage. I think the car will out last me. It's a treat for me when I drive it.

The main thing is that you enjoy it !..........me likewise, but I can't drive them both at the same time, which is why one is up for sale ..........

The next interesting thing is to see who keeps theirs the longest. My hope is to never part with mine. I remember, one time, someone being buried in their favorite car. Of course I wouldn't do that. It would waste a very fine automobile.

May 2007 - May 2010 25,000 miles - SSB Limited Coupe '04 (traded in to a SC dealership for my C55 - hopefully someone is taking good care of it. Definitely had pangs of nostalgia as I headed off in the C55 leaving the Crossfire to an unknown fate two states away!)
May 2010 - October 2011 16,000 miles - Iridium Silver C55 AMG '06 (totaled - Ouch!)
September 2011 - ... - Black SRT-6 Coupe '05

I hope to keep the SRT-6 for a long time. The Jeep is my beater and will likely be traded up for something else (probably a more family oriented vehicle). The SRT-6 will hopefully remain my toy.

Today makes 7 months that I've had my black coupe - put on 3k+ miles. Haven't felt so passionate about a car since my 1985 Toyota MR2...

I haven't been so passionate about any other car since I bought my first brand new "X" 42 years ago.
Oh wait a minute, I still have that one.

Ok I am still a Rookie...my Crossfire is coming up to my first year. In that year I have loved this car. I get excited just to wash and wax it, like I did when I was 16 and owned a 55 chev. But also in that time another month we bought the 2nd Crossfire for the wife. I love driving them seperatly down the road and looking forward to the first rally in the Northwest to meet many other owners. I enjoy this forum for the inforamtion and the enjoyment of the many owners who love a car. I am planning that these cars will be our last and they will continue to drive well and hear all the great comments that come our way. Face it...it's just a fun car and enjoyable to drive. Have to go the Sun is out and the top is down...........whoooooooosh!

This is why I sincerely believe these fine cars will be collectables. Especially for the 20 to 40 year olds that own them today. Someday their memories will drive them to want to relive this love affair with their machines. That is what drives the market today.

6 years two weeks ago, purchased with 6850 km on the odometer. It is still a pleasure to get in and go find a road with plenty of curves.

April 25th was my three year anniversary with the SRT. On the same day I started an 1800 mile road trip to TX. I have loved every minute of it.

This is my fourth year of owning a Crossfire as I purchased my first one (base coupe) on April 5th, 2008.

Bought my XF in April of 2008 with 595 miles on the clock. Love the car, have done a few mods mechanical and appearance. Just got back from getting new tires a few minutes ago. Bought the new General G-MAX A3-03. Decided to keep stock sizes. took it out and ran it up to 100mph, smooth as silk. Kept my two front Cont as spares as they weren't worn much. Brought it back home washed and cleaned everything, gave it a little polish while I was at it.

We bought 'Baby' on August 16, 2006. At the time, it had approx. 9500 miles. 5yrs. and 9 months later, we have about 35,500 miles on it. If you do the math, that's an avg. of 95 miles per week.

One full day at 6pm tomorrow. Bought today 4/30/2012, will pick up tomorrow.
My daughter is driving my last sports car a 2000 Miata. I started with a Triump Spitfire and a Sunbeam Alpine both in Germany 1959-1961, Later a Triump in 64. I just Purchased a 2005 Crossfire Red Roadster LTD. 35,365 miles. Little more muscle.

I am in Houston Area. Had not seen many on the road and driving home today from the dealer I was passed by a copy of the one I just purchased. I am the oldest new owner I would bet. Hope to find some owners for meets in Texas.

Bob
