Push the button and you'll get a little more smoke but you can't turn off the traction control on our cars.

Check my gallery you can unhook one wire and remove traction control completely with out the inconvenience of having the fuse removed I forget what all it controlled I have had mine unhooked for a year now.

We drove cars for what 70 years with out antilock brakes. Abs only makes a car easier to stop quickly not having abs won't prevent an experienced driver from stopping quickly. If you can drive you'll never have a problem. I even drove mine through the winter with 6 month old hankook summer tires and never had any issues. Pulling the wire eliminates the entire traction control system it's all you. You get three dash lights abs, bas ESP, and tcs. Helped my 1/4 times greatly. The damn thing doesnt shut down when it spins a little bit!

Talking Re: Traction Control?

I tried it and slid thru a gate on the course as the brakes locked up. What do you suppose that I did when I got off course.

You might gain 12-24 inches quicker stop on the street, Id not be able to price out the first 24" of a crossfire, but it would cover lunch for a few days. Wooody

Disconnecting the center wire disables your TC, and your antilock brakes.
I don't recommend doing it, don't do this to your car, and that's my disclaimer.
With that being said, I don't know if these wires can be disconnected on an automatic car without causing other problems, like brake lights not working.

Do not disconnect this wire you will subsequently die in any given circumstance with it removed.

what a shame that my wifes 2012 Malibu will burn rubber....

BUT the XF is a way better car and FUN! I guess it will keep me from getting a ticket and save on the tires.

there are plenty of guys on here who have witnessed me doing many a holeshot, or even cleaning the tires at the track. Just turn the TC off, a little brake torque to get her started, and feather the brakes, and you will take many a mile off your rear tires...or sometimes, just one tire....lol
