Now you are just trying to make us UK guys jealous as Chrysler for some reason although they advertised the luggage say we won't get it. :-(

I bet you could order it if you really wanted it, they have to offer replacements to Crossfire owners. Call your parts man at thedealership and see if they can order it for you if you want a set.

Sorry you didn't get yours free, as I did, when I bought my Roadster.

Doc - Just to let you know - all U.S. 2004 XF owners received luggage. I believe it is exactly the same touring gear you received.

Our sad friends across the pond are not fortunate enough to have the luggage, which is not a bit fair. Hopefully, they will be able to get it resolved and own the luggage as well.

I've had mine since Oct. last year. It looks just like yours. It works great too.

Apparently there is some sort of EU ban on US textile goods, and the luggage contains US manufactured textiles. At least that's what the email said that one UK owner got from D/C-UK Customer Service.

Doc,
Not to change the subject, but how about that Magnaflow muffler. How do you like it. I'm thinking about getting an exhaust upgrade and would like to get some opinions. Luggage looks great, looking forward to getting mine.

The UK is more like the 51st State rather than being part of the EU. Can we have our luggage now?

Please :x

Is the luggage free with the purchase of the roadster?

Default Luggage

Hey Bill;
I called the Chrysler complaint number and got a case number. My car was delivered 5-14-04. They patched me through to someone on the luggage hot-line. They said they would get back to me. the number is 1-866-871-1326, ask for Kelley

Thanks for the number!!! I just got off the phone and it is being looked into. Again, this forum comes to the rescue. I'd like to have it before my 2 week road trip from Tampa to Ohio next month. I'll be looking for a reason to stop and chat with all xifire owners between here and there

Post your travel route over on the "Meets" part of the board, maybe you'll get some takers!

After several increasingly irritating phone calls to my dealer they discovered they have to place an order for it to be delivered. Maybe you should start there.

Don't hold your breath. I have left messages for the illusive Kelley over the past two weeks and have had no reponse. :x

I bought my CF on 6/20/04 and last Thursday (7/15) I called the luggage number since I hadn't recieved mine yet. I called around 4:30pm and all I got was a machine to leave a message. The next day I called back around 7:30pm wich was after hours for them. I just wanted to see if the message was the same or if they would give actual hours when to call. Imagine my surprise when somebody picked up after the first ring! I was so taken off guard I forgot what I wanted to say for a second.
Anyway , the guy who answerd took all my information down and said he would pass it on to investigate.
This Monday I had a Fedex slip on my door for a package to pick up. It was my luggage! And when I checked the shipped date it was actually sent out Wednesday the 14th. So my call had been unnecessary. They called me back yesterday to make sure I got my luggage. So I don't know if the dealer did anything when I bought it or not...but it seems to have worked. 8)
