Re: Mesh Grill
I'll try to take some of my install if it will stop raining. I now have the Black PC grill, looks great. Added the Red Crossfire wheel graphics, looks great too. Waiting for my door sills now, hope they will be in mid January. Still thinking of the tune pkg from Eurocharge, may good down and buy that tomorrow morning.

Re: Mesh Grill
Some Automobiles can be really strong in a single color such as Black or White. The Crossfire is one of those cars. Your car, dressed all in Black is a killer.
I decided I wanted a theme car, eliminate the exterior chrome and dress up the base Alabastar with a subtle Pearl. I found what I wanted in SNOW WHITE pearl from House of Colors.
With my grille I took a different approach. I bought my mesh at an ACE Hardware store and went to a local ornamental iron and electric Gate installer welding shop. I did not like the looks of the wide border on the commercial grilles, looks like over applied lipstick. We used 1/2" wide strap formed to the shape of the opening and the compound bends were the most difficult part. The cut out for the hood latch was my error and will be redone on my SRT. The lower grilles have 3'8" rod for the borders. Much easier to form. The mesh was of course welded to the frame from the rear, mounting tabs attached and the grille held in place with hex head stainless steel sheet metal screws. The lowers fit very well and mounting tabs on the bottom are held in place with push pins. The pieces were sandblasted, primed and powder coated. I had them painted with the SHIMRIN P 44 SNOW WHITE PEARL when the car was topcoated and cleared with it. I also had my windshield surround Pearled. I did not do the door handle because I figured they would chip. The compound bending of the mesh was the hard part to get away from the flat look. I hope to get the wheels done if Treasury Dept has any money left for Tax Refunds.
