I also had spent a lot of time in Scouting with another AF Instructor ("Bad Guy" Weapons Systems) who retired and moved to Colorado Springs. We may have some common acquaintences.

I am still in the AF will retire this year after 38 years! They put me on an inactive roster until my retirement date. However, I will fly to Europe on Saturday for a week.. AF related.
With regards to Phoenix my wife and I booked a flight to Phoenix-Mesa in February for a short vacation!! We will explore Arizona - read;" Chase the sun." Unfortunately both trips will be without the Crossfire

Nothing mandatory here, just some opportunities to get out to meet and drive.

I gave ya a brief welcome on my Illinois members thread but wanted to do the same here again.
As Dennis said above I like to get folks together in the Chicago area three or four time a year.
We have a few folks here including me who can accommodate a overnight stay if ya want to make it a weekend trip to.
I know it's a bit far for you but keep an eye on the Crossfire Meets section here on the forum.
It is an index of upcoming meets as well as past meets and is a good reference point to be aware of whats going on.
I highly recommend if ya have the time to attend the
Spring 2009-Tail of the Dragon/Smokey Mountain meet April 3, 4 & 5
Read all about it and if ya can make it just put a post on the thread.
Again Welcome,
Gary

Now that I am part of the CICCI Club I know that this new opportunity will bring us Crossfire owners a lot of joy in the field!
I was once a very happy member of a great MG club. I am now happy to give the Crossfire Club a try. Judging by this excellent forum I am sure it will become all I expect from a car club! I am confident more forum members will join!
Thanks and congrats to the organizing team I know how much effort goes in a club and maintaining this forum!
United we stand..reunited in a club we will...
