Default Chrysler Financial Cluster _____

I decided to buy out my lease and it took Chrysler Financial months to get the paperwork done right. The title, Insurance card and registration had different iterations of our names, which all had to be the same - the power of attorney wasn't done right - one mess after another. I never received any paperwork from Chrysler, so I finally get a call saying I was almost 30 days late on a payment - when I never got a payment notice, So, I tell them I'll pay electronically, but - since they hadn't finished the application yet, I had no account number. So, they tell me to pay on my old account number and they will transfer it to the new account once they create it. Then I get a call telling me I'm again almost 30 days late on a payment and when I explained about the other payment she found it and put in a change order... so, I ask her if I can change the payment date, since I now have three car payments on the same paycheck - and she says "normally we could do it, but hte computer shows you in arrears so I can't do it". Now she admits I paid it, and I'm current - but she can't change the date becasue the computer doesn't know it... If I didn't have 10,000 extra miles on the car I'd be tempted to just give it back, but betweeen that extra cost and the fact that I really love the car... welll, I guess I'll just have to live with it. Oh well, the next payment is due on Jan 6 - I wonder what they'll do this month...

Are you talking about Chrysler financial or the Cable Company?
I made the mistake of prepaying two months before going out of town.
Take out Chrysler and add Charter cable, and our stories would be essentially the same.

But fewer dollars and I could care less about keeping my cable.

My Crossfire, that's worth fightin' for!

Franc, my sister is head of collections for Charter Cable. Do I need to report you?

Gibson, sorry for your troubles. With all the layoffs at Chrysler, they probably have a bunch of people in new possitions that don't know what they are doing.

I'd say the layoffs are a result of the corporation not knowing what they are doing
