Just purchased My first Crossfire! Whoopie!
Re: Just purchased My first Crossfire! Whoopie!
Yeah took me a year and 1/2 but it really did come out pretty nice. It is the best Honda Shaddy that I have seen out there but it was fun and the beautiful thing is that I did the work myself. I had a buddy drop the paint but I ripped her down and even did the body work. THis ride has a ton done from frame work, lowered, custom pipe work etc.
IT was a labor of fun and love that I am proud of.
SHe is for sale now, wanna buy a bike?

Welcome Nate-man, That is one serious looking scooter! I have a Yamaha Vmax. I did a lot of work on it, but it doesn't look fantastically cool like that thing you're sittin' on. Pretty quick though! You will love the forum and you bought a great car regardless of what those magazine jerks say.

Hey Nate_man, welcome to the forum. That's a great lookin bike, I'm an old Honda man myself (but nothing "custom" like yours). I bet you're going to miss it being in Florida and all. At least you'll have a great looking Roadster to cruise around in for sure.
Just going by what you did to your bike, I'm guessing you're a "minimalist" when it comes to customizing, so debadging will probably be in your future.
Forum member Andew makes some great looking decals to cover up your Chrysler emblems, and of course there are lots of wheels to choose from.
Some people paint their grills to make them blend in better, but I'm sure you'll get many more ideas of your own after checking out the galleries.
The styling of these cars lends itself nicely to a multitude of custom possibilities. Good Luck

Well as one of the Newbies here, I was out this weekend cruising and man does this car ride well! I am truly surprised at the way these cars handle and the smoothness of ride for tires with such little meat on them!
I took my girls for a spin and man did we have a blast. The comments that everyone is saying about an undiscovered exotic is soo true.
Initially I was struggling between going with an automatic and a stick and man am I glad that I got a 6 speed what fun to drive!
Well I thought that I would give yall a quick update on Newbie Nate and I am a crossfire die hard !!
THese cars are sweeet!

I took a while to finally make the move but I am glad that I did!

Like my little ride I was just on MBUSA and looked at the SLK's which after the basic options your over 50K man I would have had three of mine for that price! I can live with the fantastic plastic interior for that price!

Yeah to be honest I have been looking around and saw a CF dash kit for $2300 and was not really impressed. For now she will be staying stock but I would like to see your pics and maybe just maybe I may be getting old to and join you. LOL!
