I don't live in Miami Beach or in Century Village.

Are you calling me OLD?' I am only 19 1/2 when I am driving the SRT.

In January, when its 70 plus down here and you can't or won't drive your XF in the snow, come on down. We may be older, but we are hopspitable...... Well some of us are!

that's funny, it was snowing the day I picked ours up...I didn't put the top down on the way home, but did light up the seat heaters.....I put the top down once I got in town near home....wasn't snowing then....put her in the garage and only take her out when it isn't snowing...

I was the same way when I had my RX-7 Convertible. I had the top up MORE when it was mid Afternoon and Hot in the summer. I ran the top down all year. the Heater in that thing was so good, I could drive with the top down at night with temps below freezing and was fine as long as I had a hat... I love the top down when it's cool/cold.

Temp at 54 degrees.

What is it with people who own roadsters or even convertibles, that they put the tops up when it's too hot and run the air. Or too cold so they run their heaters. I mean driving a sports car should be a bit rugged and tough. None of that modern comfort stuff. Bear up and drive it like you're supposed to. Top down, manual trans, work it, raw cold edge driving. Live it real.
54 degrees.

Good thing I have heated seats.

I'm with you Franc, except when the wife is in the car. I always ask her why the hell she wanted a convertible if she never wants the top down.

It was 12 degrees celcius, which I think it about 53 F. I drove with the top down today and loved it. I had the seat heater on though, I like a warm butt. My hair stylist cuts my hair just the right length so it does not get in my mouth while blowing in the wind. He knows I like to drive with the top down.

Someone told me the other day that if I drive with the top down when it is below 10 degrees C, parts of my convertible top will crack. I somehow doubt that. He has a mustang - big difference.

Took my daughter to her hockey game in Detroit last Sunday, 360 mile RT. Left at 10:30am with temps in the low 50s and returned by 7:30 with them in the 60s. Top down all the way at 70-80 mph. Beautiful crisp, cool day with the trees just starting to turn. Daughter slept, wrapped up in a blanket. I enjoyed a cigar and the scenary. Saw lots of other verts but none with their tops down. I agree -- WIMPS -- why buy a convertible if you don't use it every chance you can.

Reminds me of early last spring when I took her to a tournament in Sault St Marie. We stopped for lunch before crossing the Mackinac Bridge, then gassed up and dropped the top. It was in the mid-30s. I had fallen behind my caravan by getting gas, so I bet my license on my radar detector and drove 90-110 for the next 25 miles until I caught up. What a rush - first across that bridge and then high speed on that cold afternoon. Yes - did have the seat heaters on and the heat going full blast. But it was completely comfortable.

Wednesday the temps were in the low 60's when I put the roadster in the garage. Thursday, I drove the truck to work.

It was 22 F when I left for work this morning. They promised 36 F by mid afternoon.

I surrender guys. The top went up.

Hit a lil over 110 for about a mile n a half there and back.

Thanks to the heated garage its warm when ya leave with the top down and then warm again when ya get back and put the top up!

Its 70 in the garage...but I am heading out to put the cover on the car for the next two weeks

Top down motoring rocks!

Have a nice Santa hat ta wear on the tollway next month when I have the top down!
