Default Roadster Antennas

Quite a selection. Might want to check compatability. A couple of them look very familiar!

the only problems i see is:
a) MB-series - Fits Mercedes-Benz SL and SLK only - is the only one that will fit our xfires.
b) Reception will decrease when compared to OEM antenna due to the smaller size
c) MB-series is $60 where the others are around $10

i found one that 'claimed' the performance of the original but it was $80 - too steep for my budget. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/High-...spagenameZWDVW

Nope. The MB series will fit ONLY the newest SL?SLK platform. Not the Crossfire. Look on the compatibility page.

And I would say that these are for 2 scenarios:
  1. You live in a city where they work just fine. and
  2. A fashion statement.

That may depend on your location. I have a shorty (antenna that is ) and it gets just as good of reception as OEM. It looks cool too!

I too have the "shorty" and reception is as good if not better than the OEM.

Well, another shorty here and I found no loss of reception.

well this is great news. i emailed the guy selling the $80 SLK antenna and he said that was the one needed for the crossfire. i wasn't about to spend $80 on an antenna but since this site shows one for the crossfire for $13 shipped, I'm gonna give it a try. if the reception is no good, i can put my old one back on and i'm only out a steak dinner. thanks.

I have an antenna from a newer sebring convertible. I think it is actually the sirius antenna possibly, because its the same as the one on my moms caliber. It works just like normal and it looks like it was made to be on the car.
