Just bought an '05 today!
Hi all
Hopefully taking delivery by this Friday of my '05 Roadster, in silver, manual, with 51000kms under her belt. Will make getting to sleep difficult for the next few nights....
Purchased from a Chrysler dealer here in Perth, West Australia for AUS$36000. We pay serious money here for US cars, given a new 3.2litre straight 6 roadster goes for AUS$76000, and the Aussie dollar is worth about US$0.95c....
Bound to look nice next to my Aprilia RSV1000 Mille in the garage!

Re: Just bought an '05 today!
Hello All,
I'm not sure if I am doing this correctly but I'm a new member and first time user of this forum! I bought a 2005 Crossfire Roadster LTD in aero blue just this past spring and I absolutely LOVE it! Fun to drive, very solid feeling and really good on gas! I told my husband when we bought it that it was my "middle- age CRAZY" car!
I just wanted to say hello to all, and I'll be reading a lot of old posts as well as the new ones to catch up on the Crossfire.

We are allowed to drive LHD cars here in WA though, as long as they are older than 10 years or so, and they don't require signage that they are LHD (they used to require dirty big lettering on the rear windscreen "CAUTION LEFT HAND DRIVE").
Most modern cars when originating from LHD countries offer a RHD version anyway - so no problems.

Hi Steve
Yes - most helpful. I have already researched window tint, K&N air filter, fogging on headlights, leather cleaner, badges, illuminated sills...

Re: Just bought an '05 today!
Congrats on your new ride! I also just purchased a '05 limited today, one owner executives car, only 14000 miles for just under $16000 OTD. (6sp). I think I did good, car was perfect, not one flaw! I think the color is like a silver/blue metallic. Have to look it up. One thing I noticed is not a lot of after maket parts are available. Any suggestions? I sold my "03 Mustang, (blown), and I'am mising my HP. Thanks Everyone. Looking forward to your respones!!!
