As a new 2005 Crossfire owner I appreciate being able to read the threads. The information concerning the locking features is very helpful. Thanks.

Here in Australia I can only fit 5 20c pieces or 10 10c pieces... Either way, we are talking a buck, for which the trunk monkey turns up, drinks my beer, and then leaves.

Dangit. That sounds like a good feature.

Damn, damn, damn. I hate it when stuff is meant to work but doesn't...

My centre console isn't locking. I hear it click, but there is no more than the usual resistance when I pull it up.

Something to start the list for warranty work to be undertaken... I have a 3 month dealer's second hand car warranty, so bound to discover other things before my time is up.

Oh - forgot to mention - found a screw imbedded in my front tyre - Only put 100kms on the girl since I picked her up during the week !!!!

The lock and unlock button will allow passengers in or unlock trunk when engine is running.

If you press the lock button while locking your car the spoiler deploys and you can remove it and take in the house or work with you. Real handy feature, my spoiler was stolen numerous times when I had my limited. That was my main reason for getting the SRT. I didn't find out about this feature until after I sold my car.

And for those who don't / won't / haven't read the manual... Pushing on the fuel filler flap on the right side causes it to spring proud of the body, allowing easy opening (instead of trying to prise it open with the tip of your finger).

If you open the coin holder it makes a perfect spot for a 2G ipod Nano.

I want that monkey to clean the brake dust - everything else isn't too difficult...where in the German manual is that command and how much?

You guys crack me up!

Just change to Rotex Golds, and see if Andrew will install them for you. I haven't had dirty wheels for 2 years. And I'm not kidding. Of course they get dust and such, but since it's not brake dust it rinses right off.

I wonder if there is a "down under" version of the fuel filler. I have to tap smartly on the left side to spring it open. The door opens left to right on my car.

I'm sure everyone has figured out the pop-up beverage holder. Unfortunetly my car didn't come with one. It has a deep pocket that holds misc. items.

press the button in the back of your glove box to pop out the small lockable storage tray under the passenger seat

That sucks man, that cup holder is one of the best features of the car. Everyone here loves theirs, it was a $300 option on these cars.

I hope that all of your roadster owners know that when you put the top down if you hold the button your windows will also come back up and after putting the top up and locking the hatch you press the buttion and it will put up both windows as well.

You all proabably know but since many didnt know about the locking console and coin holder I thought that I would put it out there!

The straps behind the seats in the roadster are for holding an umbrella.

Default Another Crossfire Surprise

I am surprised that many are not aware that pressing recirculating button after shutoff will run the fan on low, keeping the interior warm/cool while you pop into the beer store!!

Thats the beauty of these forums, the things you learn!!

I just love the coin holder, this I did not know about and I absolutely love it.

Probably should read my owners manual!
