Wow. . . Is there a lever to slide or some other switch that allows the hood to move to that next level. I never knew that was possible ! !

Yes, there's a button on the support shock to move it up. To move it to it normal open position push that same button at the top, then close the hood normally.

There's a button on the back of the rod near the top. Depress it and it releases the rod to open up to 90 degrees. To lower it back down, depress the button again to lower it back into regular position and close.

Well, I didn't see this feature mentioned anywhere in this thread, so I apologize in advance if everyone already knows about it. On the roadster, if the top-down button is double-pressed quickly in the up direction, both windows roll up at the same time. Same for the down direction. If you have just raised your convertible top, you have a few seconds (15?) when you can raise both windows by pushing the up direction once on the convertible top control (the double-press feature also works).

Yes - and if you continue to hold the roof-down switch after the tonneau beeps the windows will both roll up. It's very cool...love the hidden coin and the 90 degree hood - I also saw a little access door in the front wheel well for the fog lights I'm presuming. The car really is fun and great to drive. Not sure why they weren't so 'popular' but it just makes it better for all of us I guess...

I love little features like that lol.

So, for the hardtops, we just have that hood trick, the ashtray thing, and thats it?

Actually it's $50 and you deposit it into her purse and it's not your wheels she licks

don't apologize for sharing knowledge.. many of us are just learning about the cars.. thats one of the great things about a forum..there are all different learning groups on this site.. and thats what will make a strong loyal owner group.. for the crossfire..if we all share in our opinions and insights.

I really like the double click feature for the windows. Mine are either both up or both down so I really never use the individula buttons, just the convertible top button.
Spekaing of sharing knowledge when you all park your roadsters with the top up do you lock the doors? This is my first convertible and I had heard that you should just leave it unlocked since a thief will just cut the top anyway. Then instead of just losing the head unit and some coins I'll have to replace my top too? What are your thoughts?

Here is another cool one, if you hold down your lock button while pressing the panic button it will start your car on the srt6.

The seats cannot be moved if the top is down and the car is locked. That gives you a semi-secure area behind the seats for thin stuff...

Yea, I had to get used to that. The power seat buttons don't work either. I think it's like that so no one can reach in and dink with stuff.

Mine locks and unlocks with the engine off or without the key.
