Could someone enlighten me on the trim differences 04-05-06-07-08
I have not noticed any body or trim differences between the different years of Crossfire Roadster. I do however have a picture of a yellow roadster which is different ever so slightly than mine. My roadster has a black injection molded form behind those three horizontal trim pieces in front of the doors. This yellow roadster picture I have does have that black piece. The black piece has little ribs of its own. Hard to describe. I was in error when I first made the posting...sorry...
Are there obvious difference between the year models that would tell me what year Crossfire I'm looking at?

The only exterior differences are paint selections on the 2006 - 2008, 2 new colors were added for these model years...Machine Gray and Oyster Gold. The only other differences are knee airbags in the above model years also.

You can research the differences on the web.
When i was looking to purchase a car south of the border, I compared everything from a Crossfire to a 350Z to an Audi to a BMW.....
I set up an excel spreadsheet to compare options and price. I have a file 1/2 inch thick!
You may want to consider that a car with the bells and whistles will have a higher resale value should you ever decide to sell.
If you ever advertise your Crossfire for sale chances are the first question wil be ; Is it an Srt-6?
The biggest trap is to purchase a car thinking you got a great deal only to find that you purchased a lower end model.
I recall someone in this forum telling me of a car for sale that he thought was such a great deal suggesting I should have done my homework before purchasing my present Crossfire Roadster Ltd, when in fact his suggestion was a base model with a standard transmission. There is a big jump from a base model to a limited...
Consider that Automatics will appeal to a larger resale demographic however there will always be someone looking spcifically for a standard. Remember, it only takes one buyer. It is reported that used cars that are silver in colour sell better. having said that, I purchased the Saphire silver/blue even though my first choice is black, 2nd Red. 3rd Charcoal
I have what I think is a beautiful two-tone whilte/red boat for sale. Last week, a potential buyer had a look and stated she prefers the beige and white configuration, and doesnt care for red...I hate the beige! You can be she is as conservative as hell and probably an accountant...LOL
When looking in the past, for inexpensive used cars for my boys, I always honed in on the beige car with conservative options... Like a sunroof in place of air conditioning.. Very practical....These were often well maintained, clean, and were in great mechanical condition.
Good luck classifying the different options
