Default Fiber mesh wind deflector

Does anyone know of another fiber mesh wind deflector besides the one from tuningshop.co.uk? I've tried ordering this one and it's gotten held up in customs twice. Been waiting over a month from the time I shoud have received it. I really like the looks of this over the plastic or acrylic.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been thinking of biting the bullet and buying one also, but the price has been slowing me down. Please keep us informed if you order goes through.

hi,
I ordered my wind reflector last month. It took 3-4 weeks to arrive but really high quality, the total cost was 89 dollars for the deflector and 36 dollars for the delivery. At the end it cost me 78 euros for a deflector that is worth 300 to 400 euros. You can't find something cheaper and it has the same quality than the ones costing 300-400 euros, because it is the same item. Just straight from the manufacturer. It is iike the ones you can order from ebay in germany or uk.

I really recommend it, and it's really worth it, no neck pain by the wind blowing after installing it.

The problem is that I don't like the acrylic type, I think they look cheap and the fiber mesh looks much better.

Are you talking about the one that stretches across behind the seats and has some kind of transparent & porous fabric in the center of it. Or are you talking about the lexan piece that sits between the seats and lights up? I could handle that price, its the 300 to 400 euros that stops me from buying one...

I agree, but it seems that this is only company that sells the mesh screen.

tuningshop.co.uk is the only place I've found that sells the mesh. Their cost is 153 euros plus 75 euros shipping comes to 228 euros or approx $445.00 USD. It's all in what you like.

It would be nice if we could put together a number of orders, maybe they would reduce the pricing.

My order is already in but I can email them and ask if someone wants to get a list going.

Cool Re: Fiber mesh wind deflector

Hey guys - I just purchased from a forum member - SF - the OEM lexan one - fits between the seats in a plastic groove that mounts via velcro to to the plastic piece between the roll bars...it doesn't light up and doesn't have the 'cool' enscriptions - BUT - it is really really nice - looks good - can't really see it - and it works to block wind - you can find them on the web for $145 approx brand new...

The mesh is cool but too much money and it has that big frame which I'm certain takes away some from the looks of the car - my opinion - but if they were cheaper I would try one...

The one I got is really cool - is an 'authentic' MOPAR part, and does not interfere with the reclining of seats like the full-length lexan ones do...

I recommend them to anyone - it's virtually invisible but when you notice it it looks stock and very impressive - again my opinion - good luck!

I would be interested in this mesh windscreen if we could get a lower price.

Cool Re: Fiber mesh wind deflector

I just purchased/installed the OEM MOPAR screen that fits between the roll bars using 'straps'. It really looks great - I was worried about the straps and what they might do to how the car looks but it really just adds to it's asthetics...they are approximately $145 on the web - the ones that screw on the back of the compartment are also very cool however there's that 'huge' piece of plastic not really doing anything but helping to secure it. The OEM one has a plastic channel that adheres to the plastic between the hoops using velcro. I think personally that it looks more stock, especially due to the plastic channel piece that is MADE FOR the car...so that's my 2-cents...good luck

Oh - it really does work in keeping the wind down - at least up to around 50 mph - after that I think it was about the same amount of wind coming in, but up to that point it really helped.
