Your car pictures are very good. You are correct that fuel was $1.00 per gallon in 2001. Prices vary depending on what state you live in the US. Charleston SC prices are $3.87 but expect to be $4.00 by August.

Do you actually live in the city or the suburbs? The only reason I'm asking is that I know the area pretty well, I lived in Maisons Laffitte for 13 years.

Michel, welcome! Your English is better than lots of Americans I know ;-) And it's definitely better than my French! I have an office in France, and my wife is half French. I'll be looking for your Crossfire next time I fly over that way for work ...
