How Good is Black Color
Re: How Good is Black Color
Thanks again for all the honest input given on black. I'm pulling the trigger tomorrow on a black 2006.
Just got back from a dealer with a 2008 black roadster limited SIX SPEED at Len Stoler Westminster MD. If anyone wants more info I got their bottom price. As I hear it there are not that many 6 speeds for 2008. It's still more then I want to spend so I'm passing.
From what I'm hearing from the dealers they could not give Crossfires away and now there is a scramble out there to get them.
Thanks again to everyone.....

My new BLACK 2006 roadster was delivered last Thursday just in time for the Memorial Day weekend. Love it so far.
The dealer, Steve White in Hickory NC, detailed the car nicely. there were no swirl marks or spots and I wish it would stay like this forever. i posted a few pics.
Very happy

First thing ya gotta do is get that dealer sticker off of that fantastic car.
It's best to learn how not to get the scratches and swirls to begin with. See the sticky in the detail section on how to detail your crossfire for advise. Auto car washes are terrible on any car finish. Get some raggtopp for your top. Lots of good advise in this forum, I've learned a lot since last November when I picked up my Crossfire.
Meguire's Ultimate detail spray is fantastic on black between washes.
Re: How Good is Black Color
We love the black roadster we have, but again it requires alot of extra efforts during cleaning, ie water spots etc. Wax and a California Duster helps keep it to a minimum. But the look and the compliments are well worth the effort. Had it 1 year and drove it 12,000 on just weekends.
Re: How Good is Black Color
I have a black srt 6 roadster, its a pain in the butt to keep clean, but when it is clean its the sharpest car on the road. As for the California car duster, I've been using one for years, and it NEVER left any marks. Just make sure it never touches any sand or dirt, and always shake it out after each use.
