Lifetime Powertrain Warrenty Offer
Lifetime Powertrain Warrenty Offer
I bought my '05 roadster last November '07 and had the remainder of the 7 year 7o,ooo mile warranty that was left. To extend that to a bumper to bumper, I payed $1,300. and that will carry me to April of 2014. I have 6,600 miles on the car now.
Today I received in the mail an offer from Chrysler Service Contracts for original owners of pre-owned vehicles that were certified, to upgrade to a lifetime no mileage limit, powertrain warranty.
The cost for $100 deductible is $970. Sounds like a good deal. I think it covers engine, transmission, and rear end differential. I have to get more information. I know you will ask how long I intend to keep my Crossfire and all I can tell you is I have no idea. Makes me wonder if Chryslers lifetime is shorter than mine.
Did anyone else receive this offer? I bought my Crossfire at Tom Ahl Chrysler in Lima Ohio. I think by looking at the offer it comes from Chrysler and not the dealership.
What do you guys think? Buy or Pass?
