Default Wind Screen

I will be buying a wind screen/deflector this spring and am looking for some input. I like the looks of the wind restrictor from dynamicautoconcepts.com even without the lighted etching but am concerned that there will still be a lot of air turbulance because the deflector stops far short of the headrests. The fiber mesh wind screen from tuningshop.co.uk doesn't look as quite nice but covers more area. The air turbulence doesn't really bother me but it does my wife.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have the Mopar plexi - it's about the same size as the wind restrictor. There is still alot of wind that comes back - it is better than nothing - but no where near as good as the mesh screen that I had with my Audi cab. Will probly going to the mesh this year - although they are pricey

I bought the wind restrictor with the etching and the lights for the looks.. but it still has alot of wind going behind the roll bars and hitting the back of my head..

Thanks for the input MAKIII and Hangman. i think I'll order the mesh screen from tuningshop.co.uk. Not as flashy as the etched wind restrictor but probably more functional. Like I said, it's not for me, I don't have any hair to blow around, it's for my wife.

Call Windrestrictor.com. The last I heard, they were designing a full-width one for the xFire!

There is no doubt in my opinion that they make the highest quality one on the market.

I did contact Windrestrictor.com and they couldn't tell me what the new design would be or when it would be out. It didn't sound like it was a priority for them.

I bought the windscreen(WS) from e-bay at $72. I also added that it be lexan ($15). The WS covers not only the middle, but also behind the head. You can hear better with the WS, but it's not like having the top and windows up. My wife has long hair and the hair still gets blown around, mine on the otherhand doesn't (I'm not bald). LOL. For a less than $100 investment I would score it a 8 out of 10.

Be careful with the Lexan. It actually scratches easier than Lucite (acrylic).

Thanks for the tip. They said to use "Simple Green" or "Meguiars #17 plastic cleaner" to clean it. It came with a 30 day guarantee if you are not satisfied. The name of the company is Windblox (www.windblox.com).

Thanks for the Windblox information. Looks like a nice unit from the info. on their website. Seriously considering this one. Also looks easy to install, for someone like me with "10 thimbs".
Thanks again.

We went for one the covers the hoops as well. It is also easy to attach and remove. $78 bucks on ebay. When you are by yourself remove it if you dont love the look but you gotta love functionality. If you have a wife with alot of hair and she doesnt want it messy this is the way to go IMO
