Alarm going off at all hours of the day and night
Alarm going off at all hours of the day and night
Okay so I have posted before about this and the group thought I was nuts - well let me tell you I was not nuts. My alarm would go off at anytime it felt like it while I was driving in the garage - you get the idea - another thing you could not get the alarm to turn off. So I went to dealer and they started changing parts in the car (I guess there are 5 sensors that trigger alarm) well they finaly got the right one it was an air pump in the trunk that needed to be replaced I guess the air pressure in the locking lines was bad - so the neighbors are happy but the dogs in the area are a little upset that they don't get to bark at my car anymore.
I was at the gym the other day and saw another crossfire and asked the owner about the problem and she replied that the alarm in her car was going off also so I sent her to the dealer where they fixed mine nd they refused to work on it after they finished with mine. Since they ordered these parts one at a time it took close to a year to fix - so they won't touch another one - no wonder Chrysler has a problem with selling cars the service just sucks.

Re: Alarm going off at all hours of the day and night
I've been driving my XFire for almost a month. I've never tried the alarm. I lock the doors when I'm not driving it and nothing strange has ever happend. This arouses my curiosity as to if there is a way to program the alarm, and set flashing lights or sounds when you lock or unlock the car. Currently, I press the lock button and the locks go down. I press the unlock button and the locks go up. I've never pressed the panic button but if I did so by accident, how would I shut it off?
