Nah, that's the SVX.

The B9 Tribeca looked a bit like the Porsche Cayenne, but with Subaru's flying-V grill. Came out a few years ago.

My neighbor had the long lost cousin to the Tribeca - the Nissan Murano. She got rid of it because it was out of warranty and she was tired of paying a thousand dollars every couple of months for repairs. She traded it in for a Tribeca.

Yep, I knew they sold both of those (entire production?), but not to the same family

I guess I have 2 selfishmobiles. I also own a 2007 Chevy Avalanche. I seem to get the same MPG on both vehicles.

OK, Aside from the universal dislike of the Aztec it seems the most common insult shared is the word cute. I hate it too and when people tell me my roaster is "cute' I respond.
"A puppy is cute, a Miata is cute, hell a Mini Cooper is cute! This is a pit bull. It will eat a Miata and just about any CUTE car out there."
Cute, my a***
Sorry guys, I get emotional

I bought an '05 Roadster in '04 and thought I was one of the coolest people on the road when I was driving it. A couple years later there are 1/2 dozen Crossfires in the High School parking lot with kids driving them. 48 years old and I finally have an awesome 2 seater convertible, no kids to drive, and all the Chrysler employees lease their kids Crossfires because they were practically giving them away. Isn't it great to live in America!? What I would have done when I was in high school just to be able to afford to drive ANY car to school!
I'm Happy that I can do it now and don't feel selfish or guilty at all. Mine is only a summer car so it gives me something to look forward to after a long Michigan winter.
Please come........summer, soon!

I am a single 52 year old woman and my friends call it my cougar-mobil. However, I correct them and call it my menoopause car since many men cannot resist pausing and asking about it.

Last week, my son's car was in the shop so he came and took "Lucy" out of her winter hibernation and drove it for a few days. He said he got lots of comments from older hippie-like guys who said, "luv your plates man". My vanity plates say "LtMyFire".

She is back in the garage, snuggled until they fix the damn gargantuan pot holes in this god-forsaken frozen city!

"LtMyFire"? It's a cougar-mobile, Cathie. If it was a menopause car no one would get close for fear of hot flashes exiting the car somewhere and/or not knowing if the car is going to get 'emotional' from moment to moment (you know, one minute on your as_, the next minute stopped in traffic) .
Apkano speaks of man-eating potholes around his digs, too. Come on road crews.....

I'm 68 and just got mine. I call it my end of life crisis. I do know how to justify it to your wife though. Just say honey, I already have a trophy wife and I needed a car to go with it.

Very diplomatic the trophy wife bit. I like to say the purchase is a " later life indulgence"

I just bought a 2005 yellow roadster 4 days ago, and my family is calling it the "mid-life-crisis-mobile."
I tell them (at 55) that I'm too young to have a mid-life crisis!
I told my wife it was much cheaper and less hassle than a mistress.
