Wink Don't need an SRT

Installed the Sprint booster today in my SE. It removed all the jerkiness and slop from my driving. Driven stick shifts for thirty years. I could not get this car smooth without concentration.. Now it feels normal and quick. The roadster is red with a manual transmission...Can't get that in an SRT.

I guess you never drove a SRT.

You guess wrong....Drove them, worked on them....automatic transmission left me cold....However, I bought my SE before exposure so what you say has some merit...

Ok I'm wrong but I'd rather have the power over a manual tranny any day. But who cares about my opinion.

Can't we just be happy that he found a way to enjoy his Crossfire even more instead of worrying about any implied slight against the SRT?

Good for you man!

Glad to see you are satisfied with your car. The booster made a big difference in my car as well. As far as the "dont need an SRT" to each his own but to me shifting all the time gets old. I can have a nice relaxing drive if I want to and at any moment have the world turn into a blur in an instant while soiling my shorts just by my right foot. Sorry but I'll take soiling my shorts on a whim any day.

I have an SRT, and I love the power, but I have to agree: I would love to have the manual transmission and the retractable wing!

I'd love to have a SRT6 but I'd have to leave it in the garage most of the time. I'm already racking up speeding tickets in my base coupe. I'm afraid a daily driven SRT6 would just make the local cops really happy. No problem making those ticket quotas...

Glad you are enjoying your ride w/the Sprint Booster. I do not have one - guess I need to test drive somebody's that has it on there.
As for the manual trans/SRT6 battle, why not have both? If I could only convince my wife into another Xfire.

I don't speed anymore in my SRT6 than I did in my '04 coupe, but I do it faster now !

There's still a bunch of low miles SRT's for sale on AutoTrader.com. Check 'em out! get 'em while they're cheap. Compared to what else you can buy for the money there's no competition. Heck, if I could afford it, I would buy another one and garage it.

Took me about half an hour. Spent fifteen minutes admiring the electronic throttle...Remove cap then nut/washer, lift assembly out, uplug harness and install SB in line..reinstall.

I cannot speak for Chrysler. That is a question you ask them. Perhaps others have done so...
