Default Questions about putting the top down...

Do you have to be on level ground to put the top down or up? Is there a chance of causing a problem if you are on a slight grade or hill? My driveway is a slight grade and I need to know.

I've never thought of it but I don't see how it could cause any problems.

My driveway has a grade to it and have had no problems going up or down in the driveway with the top.
Have done it facing both ways while moving and stopped.

Shouldn't be a problem. I have raised and lowerd mine in all types of places without a hitch.

Not even the ******* child of Chrysler and Mercedes could have such a poor design constraint. It makes no difference. As a matter of fact, I believe the top can be shut with the vehicle moving up to 10 mph. I've only done that once, and it was when I came to a near stop in the rain - I was probably moving less than 5 mph.

The top can be raised or lowered with the vehicle in motion up to 9 mph.

Although if they could have made it up to 30mph like the new 1 series BMW that would be nice
